Now, the great battle, or the Battle of Ashes, happened moons ago. The kit of the prophecy was born to Nightflash, but raised by Lightgaze. When Ashkit, {or the kit of the prophecy}, was a young warrior, he got chosen to be deputy of Brookclan. Ashgaze had known his intentions since he was born. As soon as he became deputy, he killed the leader with his gang of followers, and plunged the clan into terrible times. Finally, the medicine cat got a prophecy, that said who the savior was. So, the cat saved the clan, but they died at a young age. Now, the leader has gotten a new prophecy, the prophecy of Ember.

Emberpaw woke up with a start. He winced, realizing that the blows were worsw than last night's Ugh, I don't want to go to the medicine cat, He thought, burrowing deeper into his nest. That didn't really help. Now, he just had blood on his nest. Being careful not to wake anyone up, he tip-toed out of the apprentice's den and into the medicine cat den. He realized that they were all sleeping. "Hello?" He called softly. He hoped that the medicine cat would wake up. He didn't want his blood dripping all over the nice floor. It would just be a pain to clean.




{BTW, the prophecy only comes when Emberpw becomes a warrior, which by that point, will be too late.}

Emberpaw saw that Rushpaw had walked in. He rolled his eyes, not directing it towards anyone. "There was no one around when the badger came. It attacked me, then suddenly stopped and left. I limped back to camp and collapsed in my nest." He lied yet again. He had no idea why people were all in the medicine den. Someone was still sleeping in there.

Dianellastar padded into the camp, four freshly-killed mice hanging from her maw. The scent of prey wafted her strongly, almost all her effort not to eat one. Even though Leaf-Bare wasn't as cold as usual, it was still the harshest season known to the clans. Setting the prey down into the pile, before trotting away.

Aspenbreeze smelled a waft of something. Blood. The molly was curious on who it may be coming from, and the scent of her son, Emberpaw made her stomach lurch. She may have trained in the Dark Forest, and still wishes to do so, but he was her kit. Racing into the den, a gasp stiffed in her throat at the sight. "What happened?" She snapped at Mistpaw, her reddish fur puffing out.

Dianellastar padded into the camp, four freshly-killed mice hanging from her maw. The scent of prey wafted her strongly, almost all her effort not to eat one. Even though Leaf-Bare wasn't as cold as usual, it was still the harshest season known to the clans. Setting the prey down into the pile, before trotting away.

Aspenbreeze smelled a waft of something. Blood. The molly was curious on who it may be coming from, and the scent of her son, Emberpaw made her stomach lurch. She may have trained in the Dark Forest, and still wishes to do so, but he was her kit. Racing into the den, a gasp stiffed in her throat at the sight. "What happened?" She snapped at Mistpaw, her reddish fur puffing out.

Yangfur nodded. He sniffed at Emberpaw just to make sure everything was okay. Then he sniffed around the herb storage to see if any herbs were on shortage.

Pantherheart sat near the edge of the medicine cat den, his ears hearing all words. He had been roaming around the apprentices for a while now, looking for the perfect one to reveal himself to and help bring to greatness. The strong tom had died many moons ago, drowning in a river when attacking a younger warrior and his apprentice. He had plans to be great, and he was going to be. But now, he needed to keep himself alive in this clan, by training one of these apprentices to follow in his footsteps and finish his mission.

Yangfur sighed. He got up and went to the entrance of the medicine cat's den, not before shouting over his shoulder "Gonna get some more cobwebs, take care of Emberpaw!" He wasn't really going for cobwebs, but rather to do something completely different. Knowing that the herbs would clear away all his scent, he went out and hid somewhere he could eavesdrop the two.
