Welcome to WCO! ^o^

RPing tips...hmm, let's see...

I'd say I recommend looking for rp partners that suit your style as a start and introducing any characters you have through biographies (http://www.warriorcatsonline.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=43).

As far as joining a clan goes, if a character you created is of apprentice age or older and already classified as a member of the clan, then there is no need for notifying clan leaders, you may just start roleplaying.

If it's an outsider, such as a former kittypet or rogue, and you want to roleplay them getting introduced to the clan, then I recommend PMing the clan leaders to notify them of a cat joining their clan.

I think the FAQ (http://www.warriorcatsonline.com/forums/faq.php) explains doing such things better than I can, so it's best to read through that.

In addition to the FAQ I also suggest that you read through the site guidelines (http://www.warriorcatsonline.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=11) if you haven't already.

If you're in search of people to roleplay with, I would advise either PMing people who have stated that they're open to roleplaying with anyone, applying a cat for a role in a plot (http://www.warriorcatsonline.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=19), or applying in the roleplaying resources (http://www.warriorcatsonline.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=18)for connections for said cat(s). You may also put up finders in such places for your cat(s) or plot(s).

Any further questions that you may have that aren't answered in the FAQ or any of the links above, can be asked in the help den (http://www.warriorcatsonline.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=12).

Hope you have fun here on WCO and I look forward to the potential of roleplaying with you.

*My brain is currently processing in another language so things I type here might not make sense. ^-^" Sorry for any possible confusion.

Thanks! So, if I want to be an apprentice in Thunderclan, I would just hop in? Wouldn't I need a mentor?

I would be recommended, if you want a mentor make a thread In the Roleplaying Resources (http://www.warriorcatsonline.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=18) That way people can see what you need and help you.
Or you could look at other people's finders and see if they need a apprentice
