Kestrelglide stared at Silveroak in clear terror. He wasn't a medicine cat! He had never watched a she cat give birth. He stood there frozen in shock for a moment, not knowing what to do. He snapped back into reality knowing he couldn't just leave Silveroak to give birth without help. It hurt him too see her in such pain. What do I do? What do I do?*Kestrelglide repeated frantically in his mind, panic taking over him. He racked his memory for a moment, trying to remember any medicine coversations he might've overheard before. Sticks! He suddenly remembered. He remembered once overhearing Surgestorm talk about sticks! He looks around wildly, desperate to find a stick. Bingo!*He thought as he saw a short but thick stick lying on the ground. Somehow it had made it into the tunnels. He lunged forward and swiftly grabbed the stick. He returned to Silveroak and bent down beside her. "Put it in your mouth" he said, dropping the stick beside her.
