Am I allowed
To be a cloud,
Participating in
Precipitation
And skittering cross the sky
Leaving behind rain
Which drops
Without pain
And without a brain
I could never be slain
I'd have no heart
With which to part
And I'd fade away
Without a debt to pay
In the sky
I'd wonder why
The meaning of life
Isn't human strife.
