[Ludicrous Lunacy]

If only a butterfly
Could make it a sunny day
Would I have seen my friend
Across the way?

If only
Some cider
Could cure all woes,
Would I have been cut
By a beautiful red rose?

Would we have said goodbye
If only a fly
Could make me unshy?

Would you have stayed
If only a band-aid
Could get us
One more day?

If only the night
Could hear my plight,
Would you still be
In sight?

Would we be
All right?
