(No, this USED to be a clan that thrived but then it was all destroyed. The clan didn't survive and is scattered. This is only the camp. Sorry for the misunderstanding.)

Jungle quickly ran to Voyageleaf. She wanted to ask questions but stared at the other cat afraid he might attack.

Jaynose grunted, "You are one lucky cat, Voyageleaf. Destiny shows that you will be a wise cat" he said, "but for now you are like a trouble making kit" he tuned to Jungle and dipped husband head "nice to meet you"

Voyageleaf was too stunned and hurt to reply... his head dropped and his tail fell between his legs

Jungle spat at Jaynose angry," Voyageleaf isn't a trouble maker! He's lucky to be alive! You should be lucky that we found you!"

"well he was and still is", he snorted. Clearing his throat, he mewed "I sense you have many questions for me."

Voyageleaf was sad, why couldn't Jaynose treat him better?

"Yeah. I do.", Jungle turned around,"But that can wait. We need to l find more survivors or build a shelter."

"what for?" Jaynose asked, "this place has been pretty sheltered enough to block any attacks so far" including that monster Jaynose silently added

Voyageleaf silently padded towards the exit, still hurt. He climbed the nearest tree and clung onto the top branch and stared at the camp.

Jungle ignored Jaynose. She started to pull ferns and other plant to try and rebuild the herb den.

Voyageleaf spotted the apprentice den that collapsed. He climbed down and padded towards the apprentice den. He had a bad feeling what was going to be inside.

Spotting Voyageleaf running to a den Jungle dropped some ferns and ran over to help.

As Voyageleaf reached the den, he recoiled as he smelled death. "No..." he muttered

Jungle stood next to Voyageleaf. Smelling something rotting she took a step back.

"Hello?" Voyageleaf called weakly, "is anyone...... alive?" He chocked out the last word

Jungle went closer to the den,"Hey! We won't hurt you!"

But there was no sign of life... having enough Voyageleaf looked away and walked away slowley

Seeing how disappointed Voyageleaf was Jungle walked next to him,"Do you want to hunt for some prey or help me fix the medicine cat den?"

"Yeah.. sure..." Voyageleaf was too desturbed

"Come on. Let's see what we can find.", Jungle lead Voyageleaf to the forest.

Voyageleaf just walked with Jungle, his mind filled with all sorts of things

"So you were the medicine cat? What was it like?", Jungle tried to make conversation.

Voyageleaf was thankful for Jungle to desturb from his ever lasting train, He replied "learning all those herbs was very difficult, but it was worth it" he put his sentence on past tense.

"Was there anything tough about being a medicine cat?", Jungle ask hearing a bird.

"Learning all those herbs" he replied, some happiness returning to his voice, "I thought there were a thousand of herbs I had to memorize"

Jungle purred,"That a lot to remember. You must helped a lot of cats."

"no, actually," Voyageleaf said "I could only treat minor injuries because I was still an apprentice. Now I am a full contributor.... or I never will.." his gaze darkened again

"Hey.", Jungle put her tail on his shoulder,"You can still help. Having knowledge of all the herbs is great! Even if you only had to deal with minor injuries you're still useful."

"But I never learnt the important ingredients that a medicine cat should learn!" he protested, "as an apprentice, you only learn the basics and the herbs"

Jungle flatten her ears,"Sorry for cheering you up then.", she headed back to camp.

Voyageleaf immediately regretted those words as he saw her heading back to camp "I'm sorry, I'm not my...." he did not finish the words as he saw a tree. a tree with huge jaw marks on them. His eyes widened as he recognized the scent of what left it. "Jungle?" he said, his voice shaking and his body trembling, "have you ever met a dog with huge jaws?"

"No I haven't. Why?", Jungle looked back at Voyageleaf.

"then w-wha..." Voyageleaf fainted, as the stress of the day took a toll on him.

Jungle sighed as she saw the tom faint. Grabbing his scruff she looked at the tree. 'A huge dog.', Jungle thought of what Voyageleaf meant as she dragged him back to camp.

Cookie ducked under a low branch her slick golden fur shining in the sunlight. The senior loner had been traveling for days and had only a few mice for a meal and she was starving. The loner's brown eyes darted about for a moment as one of her white paws stepped on a leaf before she sighed and continued on nosing past a bush with her white speckled black muzzle. Cookie flicked her white tail tip rustling a few leaves.

"Yes.", Jungle was so annoyed at this cat she rolled her eyes.

"DON'T YOU DARE ROLL YOUR EYES AT ME" Jaynose snapped, and with a sudden change of behavior, "that creature ripped apart everything, cats, dens, and even trees. I am the lucky few who survived, and Voyageleaf is lucky he started his final assessment on a golden time" he narrowed his eyes at Voyageleaf.

Voyageleaf flinched at the gaze and quickly looked away.

Jungle smiled at the tom,"Thank you for telling me what happened.,"she walked up to Jaynose,"NOW GET YOUR LAZILY TAIL UP AND HELP!", Jungle was trying to be intimidating.

"Ha, nice try cat, but it takes even more than a leader to boss me around" Jaynose mewed, "Call me if you find something interesting, by interesting, I mean something that even the know-it-all cats find it interesting."

Cookie sniffed the air a moment before smelling a strong rang of blood and crow food. As curious as the senior loner was she started to move at a faster pace until she found the camp. With eyes as big as moons the golden she-cat let out a gasp of terror and surprise. She leaped down near a grey furred tom whom was stuck in a fighting pose and looked as if he were trying to yowl for help. Cookie almost gagged at the stench from the dead cat before scurrying a slight ways forward and stepping on a brown she-kit. Cookie let out a screech of terror as the mushy body of the kit met her paw and her paw was then covered in the poor kit's blood.

Voyageleaf jumped at the sound of a screech. He ran outside to spot a golden cat screeching all over the place. 'Oh my,' he thought, 'I'd better help the cat' and he ran towards the cat.

Hissing angrily at Jaynose Jungle found a dead cat's paw. Grabbing it she shook the paw violently making blood splatter around her.

"I'm guessing you are imagining that paw was me" Jaynose mewed, and with his matter-of-fact voice "You shouldn't do that to a deceased, you know."

Voyageleaf approached the golden-pelted cat. "Calm down, I'm here"

Throwing the paw Jungle ran out of camp. Reaching a tree she climbed sitting on the lowest branch.

"There are all gone. All dead." For the first time, he didn't feel the sadness rise from deep inside him. He felt guilt instead, and he had absolutely no idea why.

Jungle came back to camp her fur filled with twigs and leaves. She went to the medicine cat den ignoring the cats.

Looking back, Voyageleaf saw Jungle with her fur tangled with branches and leaves. Suppressing a purr, he called to her, "What in the stars happened to you?"

"No, our leader left during the battle. He escorted most other cats with him too." Jaynose replied. As he was the scout, he could hear very long distances and during the attack, while he was protected in the warrior's den, he had heard his leader collecting every cat and making a great escape into who knows where. He ignored the yelling and shouting because he did not want to be part of it.

Jungle ate herbs hurriedly. She walked away,"Thanks." Finding a spot near a bush Jungle layed down and closed her eyes. Sleeping she dreamed she was underground. Cats were running past her and jumping over as well. Looking at what they were running from Jungle froze. A huge dog appeared in front of her. It's mouth dripping with blood,fur,and guts. Before she act the dog jaws grabbed her. Her fur shook from the nightmare.

Voyageleaf jerked awake, as he had fallen asleep by accident. He saw the two messy piles of herbs and just walked out the storage cave. 'I'll sort them someday'

Voyageleaf just stared at her go to the forest. He walked towards towards the tunnel entrance where he had appeared, he went inside.

Trotting through the forest Jungle pricked her ears up. Hearing nothing she stopped and looked around. Looking between each tree she spotted a flat area of grass. Crouching to the flat land she smelled rabbits.

Voyageleaf navigated through the tunnels fast, searching for something.

Killing the plump rabbit before it escaped Jungle panted. She hadn't seen many prey around but she knew the prey was well fed. Grabbing this rabbit and the other small one she drugged them back to camp.

Cookie nodded shaking out her short fur,"Mine is Cookie and its nice to meet you too."

Jungle dropped both rabbits near the medicine cat den. She panted as the herbs wore off,"Rabbits are too heavy."
