So honestly i'm a bit nervous to see what you guys think but... I came up with my own Naruto village and uhh... Maybe we can roleplay with it??? So yeah here we go...

You don't really forget a life changing experience, especially one that can change your ways. You had lived a mundane life in your village, before you went rouge. That's when you saw him. A strange young man, his face hidden, but you could tell something was wrong. That's when he looked up, revealing his horrible battle scars across his face, straight over his eyes. This man was blind. "I've been waiting for you." He stated, looking straight at you. I'm here to give you an offer you can't refuse. I would like you to join my village, I call it the Village Hidden in the Waves. We specialize in manipulating sound and light waves. So what do you say?"

Description: Black hair, with severe scars across his face, blinding him. He is kind of short, with a body built for running, rather than fighting.
Personality: Azuma's personality is constantly changing as he progresses along his path. He hasn't necessarily formed any bonds with anyone in his entire life, and is mostly self reserved. He isn't really like most people, it's easy to tell just by talking to him.
Backstory: All of Azuma's life he had worked extremely hard to become an excellent shinobi, and for a time period things were going well. He had become a excellent Jounin and was even assigned a team to his pleasure. Though, one day he was on a mission when things went wrong. The strength of the enemy had been greatly underestimated, and Azuma found himself on the ground. A couple of days later he woke up, unable to see. Devastated, he left his village, trying to find a way to fix everything. He tried and tried until it hit him. What if there was a jutsu that could fix him? Many days later he had created his own jutsu, manipulating sound a light waves, allowing a nearly perfect justsu to help him see again. He decided to start his own village, and there he is today.
