With the past few gatherings in mind, Grousestar held a quiet prayer that tonight would be better. That the two clans had settled their differences, whether with peace or with violence, and were able to move on to peaceful times. He knew it was somewhat early, but he wanted to be the first clan there. He liked to think of himself as a peacekeeper of sorts, a mediator, something to hopefully stop the other clans from turning into, well, the Dusk Syndicate. There didn't need to be all of this fighting, there didn't need to be all of this bickering. They were leaders, not kits and personally he didn't want his clan seen as some battle-hungry syndicate. Perhaps if he showed up first, things would go better.
And as he reached the edge of the clearing to find that Skyclan was, in fact, the first clan there, he would let out a quiet sigh of relief. Flicking his tail lightly, the brown tabby would lead his clan into Seastones, making his own way up onto the towering formations of rock that allowed him to see the whole of the area. With a few graceful bounds, the Skyclan leader was at the tom and settling right in the middle of the 'podium' of sorts, so that he could be between the leaders if they happened to start something again. He hoped not. But as much as an optimist as he was, he couldn't help but leave room for doubt. There was that momentary era of peace after they liberated the clans from their evil rulers, but after that, everything seemed to be showing it's true colors and Grousestar wasn't overly fond of what he was seeing.

Bright moonlight reflected of a creamy white pelt as rowanflower followed fallenstar down the hillside towards the ocean and gathering, overwhelming scents clashed for supremacy over her tongue. Most where stale all for skyclan who she had seen making their way to the gathering just a few yards ahead. She hadn't had much interaction with skyclan other than auroraflame the other day here on a whim. She seemed nice enough which lead her to believe perhaps grousestar was just as pleasant to be around, that's all they really needed right now. Tensions where high and skyclan had wisely stayed out of he whole quarrel.
Rowanflower weaved in and around the bushes that surrounded the Seastones making sure to keep just behind fallenstar, oddly enough it seemed every time she caught the toms dark glance it was filled with hatred and malice and so she went out of her way to avoid causing any commotion with him. Even though before all of this she had gone to the extreme to get on his good side her efforts always seemed to fall just short of It. The small tabby shook her head dismissing the thoughts of her own troubles and replaced it with maybe seeing Auroraflame again. She had grown awful fond of the black she cat and wouldn't mind catching up with her before the gathering began. Finally she broke into the clearing already seeing the skyclan cats gathered and lastly the brown tabby high above the rest seated on one of the large stones. Her tail lashed gently as she studied him stopping for only a brief moment, one day that will be you up there. a shiver spiralled down her spine and she recoiled but quickly recovered and caught up with fallenstar at the head of the pack. She flashes a quick glance over her shoulder at the riverclan cats searching for tumblestep but their eyes didn't meet and she was forced to look back ahead and weave through the settling clan cats til she could take her spot beneath the large stones. From this point of view she could see everyone, the ghostly moonlight illuminating their faces perfectly with every detail present. Though she could only dream of what it was like for the leaders to see their reflection displayed out on the sea of cats below, to hear the waves crashing behind them and the sea breeze tickle their fur. We are blessed to gather here peacefully, let's just hope we can resolve everything else going on. because nobody would dare break the truce would they? Not when he moon shines so brightly down on us? yet somehow rowanflower couldn't convince herself that was true, let alone try to reassure everyone it was perfectly fine. Her ears nervously pinned to the back of her head, starclan please don't let us fight tonight.

The ebony deputy followed closely behind Grousestar as he lead SkyClan towards Seastones. They had set out a bit earlier than usual and whilst she wasnt completely certain about why, she assumed that the leader wanted to be their first to prevent anything bad from happening. Tonight was going to be a night of truce, but with the tensions so high between the other four clans, she couldn't be certain of whether that truce would hold up. Soon enough they arrived and Auroraflame paised at the entrance, waiting for every SkyClan cat to file into the clearing before padding towards her usual spot beneath the large stones. She sat down and curled her tail neatly around her paws. The moon was bright tonight and made the she-cat's fur seem even darker.
The deputy wasn't sure of what to expect for tonight, but she was keen to find out. None of the other clans had arrived yet so she sat there waiting impatiently. She stared her shadow and with just a simple thought, moved her shadow so that it lined up with the moon. Her eyes widened and she returned the shadow to its original position. She found it a bit creepy, especially considering it was night time, so she left the idea of playing wih her powers behind her and focused her attention on the entrance instead.
It wasn't long before a fishy scent wafted into her nostrils. She did her best to not wrinkle her nose at the scent. Even though she'd been around RiverClan cats enough to expect the fishy scent, she still didn't like it. It didn't smell like the squirrels and birds that she was used to catching. She watched silently as the crowd of RiverClan cats padded forward and started to mingle with the SkyClan cats. The Bombay eventually took her gaze away from the crowd of cats and instead watched as Fallenstar and Daisyshade padded forward. She waited until the RiverClan deputy had made herself comfortable before speaking. "Hey Daisyshade," she greeted. Her tone of voice was not unfriendly but at the same time it wasn't super cheerful either. It was simply friendly. The deputy was not yet aware that the other cat had had her name changed so she still spoke to her with her original name.

The ebony tom made his way toward the Seastones, his large paws sinking into the marsh and mud with every step he took. He had never liked the trek to the gathering, but the promise of peace and the congregation of all clans made it worth it, knowing how the others were fairing. Of course he knew that they all were recovering from the recent battles, Windclan the most out of the four, on the other hand, he had no idea about what had been occurring in Skyclan. He got to the edge of the river and turned around to make sure his warriors and apprentices that would be participating were following, though he could hear them, he just wanted to make sure. It was primarily the anxiety that prickled through him that made him double check to make sure they were all right, it poked and jabbed constantly in the depths of his mind, making him constantly second guess himself. 'Are you sure?' 'you're taking him?' 'Why did you do that, was it the best choice for Riverclan, or for you?' 'Are you suited to be the leader?' Such thoughts, such questions constantly made the leader wrack his brain, watch his every step, as well as his clanmates, to get an answer, any answer, but to no avail, he was still in the dark, still wandering, still waiting for the chance to be guided though the vast night, to see the stars. As the burly leader zoned out, he made soft splashing sounds, his paws clawing at the water as he swam across, his fur making him seem like an even larger ball of fluff. He thought that with Honeypool coming back, this horrid feeling would go away, that he would be able to see the stars, that he wouldn't be lost anymore. That wasn't the case, in fact that was the exact opposite, he was elated that she was back, the hole in his soul, his heart had been filled once more, but, that gnawing feeling of being lost still stuck to him, like a burr to a felines fur.

Fallenstar dragged himself out of the freezing river and did his best to shake himself dry, water droplets making soft paping noises on the dirt and stone beneath and around him. He then looked up at the large stones, where he could already see Grousestar and Auroraflame sitting. He then took a deep intake of breath and made his way toward the leaders perching place, where the leaders look down on their clanmates and others clanmates, the ultimate display of power. It made his stomach churn. The leader flattened his ears against his head and proceeded to steadily pull himself up the rocks, hoping and ducking beneath the roots of the surrounding trees. Once he made it to the top he swiveled his head and cast his lapis gaze over the horde of cats, though it was just Riverclan and Skyclan at the moment, it was still a fairly large crowd. He bit the inside of his cheek and sat somewhat away from the trio, glaring as his newly named deputy, Rowanflower sat fairly close to the two Skyclan highranks. "Evening....my name's Fallenstar, I'm the new lea-leader of Riverclan." he muttered, choking on the word 'leader' he could feel the bile rising in the back of his throat.

The newly made deputy followed her leader, Blazingstar, to the gathering place. It felt strange to Buttercupbreeze,
to be right behind Blazingstar. Normally this molly would be at the back of any group or patrol she was on not because she was nervous or anything, no, because she wanted to watch over her Clanmates. Who wouldn't? Protecting her Clanmates, kin, friends even cats she didn't get along with was one thing Buttercup was good at or tried to be good at. She glanced behind her, the stream of WindClan cat looked a lot bigger from here,
seeing all their faces instead of their tails. At first she hoped to catch Ploverpelt's or Shadepaw's eye but she decided she had to look straight ahead otherwise she could stumble and fall. That would be so embarrassing, on her first gathering as deputy to. Swallowing she kept a steady pace right behind Blazingstar. Not because she didn't want to walk beside him, no she thought she got along pretty well with him, it just felt strange. As the Sea stones came into few she felt like it was her first time at the gathering again. She was so nervous back then, her sister was confident but meeting the Clans fritedened Buttercup back then. Now she was fine with it she'd been to a lot of gatherings, though she missed the last one sadly, she might have been able to prevent a few deaths or injuries, but that was the past. Hopefully tonight would be a peaceful gathering. Her heartbeat quickened the closer she drew to the Sea stones. It appeared that RiverClan and SkyClan were already here, Grousestar and a black tom Buttercupbreeze knew from hearing Blazingstar talk about him. He was Fallenstar, leader of RiverClan. Though she didn't know who his deputy was, the one sitting by Auroraflame. Taking another deep breath the creamy ginger molly made he way to sit with the other deputies. This felt so strange to the newly made deputy.
Dipping her head to the other mollies she sat down a bit nervous about this, she rapped her tail tightly around her thin but strong fram. Looking out over all the cats from the three Clans she felt small. This is only WindClan, RiverClan and SkyClan. She thought. What would it be like with all the cats? She wondered. Out of the corner of her brownish hued eyes she watched the other two deputies. Who was the cream and ginger one? Was she was bitter as Fallenstar? All those things went though the molly's head but she wasn't sure if she should ask.

Luckily enough it seemed that he didn't have to wait too long before another clan, Riverclan was appearing at the gathering place, though that didn't much surprise him considering he saw their outlines in the distance somewhat behind them as they traveled here. At first he saw a molly, likely the deputy of Riverclan, heading towards Auroraflame, to take her place where the deputies sat. He looked at her for a moment, trying to remember if she was there at the last gathering, but that's when he realized the last gathering was a huge blur. It was the Dusk Syndicate's last attempt at gaining power and ultimately ended with them disbanding. He tried not to remember much from that gathering, as it left a bad taste in his mouth. Flicking his ear, he then turned his head to see a particularly large dark-furred tom climbing his way up to join him. Riverclan has a new leader? His mind questioned quietly while he smiled warmly at the other tom, dipping his head lightly in greetings.
"Good evening Fallenstar. It is a pleasure to meet you and I'm sure you'll lead your clan well." Rather, I sincerely hope you do. I don't wish to hear anymore fights under this truce.
"If you haven't met me already, I am Grousestar, the leader of Skyclan." Again he would dip his head, almost seeming to bow before straightening up with a chuckle. "My deputy is Auroraflame, she seems to know your deputy already." Now he would nod slightly in the direction of the black she-cat below them at the base of the rocks they sat on.
Shortly after he introduced himself he could catch the scent of Windclan and soon enough he could see more cats filing into the clearing to mingle with the two clans already there. Another cat would join the two deputies below, another cat he didn't know. But his attention was currently focused on trying to find Blazingstar. He was anxious to hear how everything was going between all of the clans, as he had elected to keep his clan out of their squabbling.

Blazingstar rose to the top of the Seastones, an air of tension surrounded him as he made no eye contact with any RiverClanners. He could sense their displeasure and just by simply looking at Grousestar, he could see the tabby tom's disapproval of the unnecessary drama that has erupted from the clans. Grousestar has to understand that it's almost impossible to stay peaceful because there's too many cats. he flicked his tail at his thoughts before settling himself down where he normally did among the leaders. He noted that his new deputy was appearing rather nervous, however curious about everything.

He didn't greet anyone as he simply sat and stared at the horizon, waiting for the other clans to arrive. What was taking them so long? The moon was almost fully above them, the gathering would have to start without them since the clans couldn't sit here all night! The orange tabby wrapped his unusually long tail around his paws tightly, debating voicing his thoughts, before deciding it was fine to. "The Gathering will have to start with or without ShadowClan and ThunderClan. We cannot sit here and freeze all night," he commented, aiming his voice more towards Grousestar than Fallenstar. Not that anyone will miss ThunderClan's presence.

Rowanflower didn't consider herself an idiot, in fact she liked to think she was a little higher than average and the way windclan seemed to glare at her clanmates wasn't friendly or hidden. It caused her hackles to raise and her ears to perk as they brushed by each other with their whiskers in a twist. So much hate for such a small group of cats, couldn't imagine a whole clans hatred. Quite frankly I don't want too. as she studied the cats separating from each other she felt her claws itch in their seathes but she wouldn't ever take action, unless they made the first move. Her motherly instinct came into full swing and the need to defend her clanmates like a mother would her kits was like nature calling to her. as Rowanflower settled down and watched windclan file in shortly after them was when the farmiliar voice of auroraflame, the she cat glanced over her expression full of uncertainty and secret joy. Since she had met the dark cat here a few sunrises ago lots had changed, and even more had changed for all of the clans who hadn't heard of russetstars resignation or fallenstar or her for that matter. "Rowanflower, actually I've gone through a name change" she said looking proud, and if you looked hard enough you could see her chest puffed out just enough. Though she looked back upwards for fallenstar and his OK to speak with auroraflame, she didn't see anything wrong with it but she supposed she wouldn't ever want to do something he didn't like. What she met was a glance of hatred which honeslty the shock of seemed to fade overtime. She was quite aware he wasn't too fond of her anyways. Just as she was about to speak again she spotted another she cat slip through the crowd next to blazingstar. Than gracefully leaping up next to the pair, an overwhelming scent of windclan rolling off of her.
In spite of high tensions between everyone else she seemed friendly enough to offer another smile. I haven't seen her before. Where's onyxwhisper? Oh starclan lets hope she wasn't killed during that battle. that will make everything worse! her worst fear may be coming true, a war just when she was getting settled as deputy. The white and orange tabbys paws shuffled nervously and she leaned in closer to auroraflame. "who's that? I haven't seen her before. she whispered through closed jaws before sitting back upright and tossing a glance over her shoulder, offering a faint smile of acknowledgement ridden with embarrassment. She felt as if she should have known but the last time she was near windclan was a battle which isn't considered a social gathering anyways. Than the commanding voice of blazingstar broke an uneasy silence from the tense clan cats, unlike fallenstars who had been faint and uneasy. She couldn't blame him either. This was after all his first time making a public appearance not battling to the other clans. Than there was grousestar, his welcoming warm voice congratulating fallenstar. She chose to ignore the curt snap from blazingstar and continued to mull over who this new deputy was without talking to her. Well she wasn't really supposed too anyways.

It wasn't long before Grousestar's emerald gaze fell upon the thick-furred golden tom of Windclan. He continued to hold his smile and nodded towards Blazingstar politely as he leaped up to join them on the rocks. There was a clear sense of distaste and tension with him that caused the very tip of his tail to flick in his own distaste. Why do they have to act like such kits? His mind grumbled, but still he held the smile. Blazingstar hadn't actually done anything yet, he was allowed to look however he wished. The moment he started to rile up his clan, that's when Grousestar would have a problem. From what he knows, gathering's were supposed to be a truce, a peaceful time for clans to meet together and they have hardly been as such in the past moons, and he certainly isn't happy. What would Starclan have to think about that?
However it did slightly bother him that the tom didn't even offer a greeting to any of them. Grousestar wasn't the type of cat who would play those kinds of games though, and offered his own greeting instead, keeping his cheery voice. "Good to see you Blazingstar! Now just waiting on... Thunderclan and Shadowclan." Flicking his ear, he would sigh out quietly, looking at the edges of the clearing to see if he could spot either Snowstar or Goldenstar making their entrance.

A little while passed and the two leaders still had yet to show, much to the Skyclan leader's reply. Perhaps they... Forgot? Is that a normal thing to do? Do we continue on with the gathering or call it off? His thoughts were interrupted by the Windclan leader's voice, causing him to turn his head in the direction of the golden tabby. "I can't say I've encountered this before... We just... Continue without them? Will Starclan approve of it?" The tip of his tail flicked slowly back and forth, a slight frown on his muzzle as he let his gaze drift from one leader to another. It was clear Blazingstar wanted to continue with the gathering, and Grousestar wasn't opposed to it, though he wished he knew what was wrong with Thunderclan and Shadowclan.

"Rowanflower..." she repeated. The she-cat wondered why she'd changed her name. Daisyshade had been a nice name. "Why'd you change it?" She asked. Her tone of voice was accusing nor scornful, but simply curious. Had she not liked her name? Had she lost the meaning of her name? Or had it stopped being special to her? There were lots of possibilities, but she couldn't be sure of which one it was. Auroraflame knew that she'd never want to change her name. She loved it and the reasons behind it. Now she was curious as to know why a cat would change such a lovely name.
As she waited for a response, she turned her head away and stared at the crowd that was gathering. From what she was used to, the crowd wasn't particularly big, though to a new deputy it would seem massive already. The Bombay noticed that none of the RiverClan cats were really recoiling from the SkyClan cats. That was a good sign, it meant that whilst the other clan might be hostile with each other right now, SkyClan was in an okay position. Auroraflame's fur lay flat and her expression was cool, whereas she noticed that Rowanflower's fur prickled with discomfort and her hackles raised.

It wasn't long before another scent filled the air and the WindClan cats arrived. She watched as Blazingstar leapt up to join the other leaders as usual and looked back down, trying to spot Onyxwhisper in amongst the crowd. She frowned in confusion as she couldn't seem to find the ebony she-cat anywhere. Instead, a creamy ginger molly appeared and took her place beside herself and Rowanflower. That must be the WindClan deputy then, she thought. She hoped that nothing bad had happened to Onyxwhisper. That would just make things even worse between the clans. Auroraflame had never seen the she-cat before, though she never tried that hard to remember the names and faces of cats from other clans. The WindClan deputy dipped her head in greeting and Auroraflame gave a small smile in response. Auroraflame turned her attention back to Rowanflower as listened silently to her question. "Must be the new WindClan deputy," she replied. The RiverClan deputy seemed nervous about this new deputy, but Auroraflame had been deputy long enough to be completely cool about the situation. She moved herself so that she could be seen from behind Rowanflower. "I'm Auroraflame, though I'd assume you already know that," she said to the WindClan molly, making her voice as friendly as possible. "I'm guessing that you're the WindClan deputy?" she continued in a questioning tone of voice. She opened her mouth to say something else but her attention was snatched away from the conversation and she glanced upwards to hear what Blazingstar had to say. Continue with the absence of two clans? Would StarClan approve? Surely they hadn't been waiting for long. Or had time flown past without her noticing at all? Perhaps Blazingstar was just being petty.

The creamy ginger molly sat silently lessening to everything around her. As a warrior she would chat with friends and see how cats she knew were doing but it was a bit strange being deputy. She only knew Auroraflame by her name and rank, nothing more. And the RiverClan deputy, Fallenstar's deputy, she things she heard Auroraflame call her Rowanflower but wasn't sure. Feeling eyes on her pelt Buttercup turned her head slightly to confront whoever it was who was staring but before she could say a word Auroraflame greeted her, in a polite and friendly tone. It was unexpected, she assumed she'd meet an angry gaze from the RiverClan deputy, but the molly looked more shocked and maybe a bit curious. Buttercupbreeze couldn't tell what she was feeling but how could she? This is the new Deputy? She doesn't seem anything like Fallenstar. She thought a bit shocked. Before she had a chance to rap her brain around her thoughts Auroraflame spoke again and she was right, she was the new WindClan deputy. She opened her mouth as the SkyClan deputy did but were both cut of by Blazingstar.
Instantly it seamed she looked up at the leaders, she was so nervous she was almost hoping they'd start, even if it felt wrong to do it without ShadowClan. And ThunderClan. She reminded herself. After lessening to both Grousestar and Blazingstar talk she turned her atencion back to the other mollies. Offering a small smile, still nervous, she decided to tell Auroraflame and kinda Rowanflower who she was. "Yes, I'm the new deputy. She meowed, even her enemies derived to know who she was, in her opinion. "My name is Buttercupbreeze, pleased to make your acquaintance." She added trying to be polite as possible. She knew her name could be a mouth full at times, sometimes the kits had a hard time saying it witch usually amused her but she was sure Auroraflame could handle it, she was a full grown warrior it would be a bit embarrassing if she couldn't. Probably for them both. The feline didn't say more after that, not sure if she should. Blazingstar hasn't said anything except that the gathering should star without then other two Clans, maybe she wasn't aloud to speak? Buttercup didn't know, she'd get it down one day but the first day would be the hardest. One thing never dawned on her as she sat here, what the other Clans thought happened to Onyxwhisper, she knew the former deputy was fine but the other Clans had no idea. But none of that dawned on the molly.

[Sorry, got back from a tournament]

The top dipped his head a few seconds later than Grousestar, though he had already performed the formal greeting, he felt as though it would be weird if he had just sat there as the Skyclan leader greeted politely. As the tabby stated how wonderful he would be at in his position, his brows wrinkled together, his eyes narrowed, and his ears folded backwards. 'That makes one of us.' he thought to himself bitterly, his ebony fur prickling. As he was about to make a comment about Rowanflower knowing Auroraflame prior to the gathering, he was interupted by a rather rude comment by the ginger leader, he hadn't even noticed his presence. He only slightly turned his head, and looked at the Windclan leader in the corner of his eye, lapis hues flickered with the beginning of a fire.

Fallenstar let out a snort and lashed his tail, completely turning himself around so he could face the tom, a scowl plastered on his maw. "Who say's you can decide for all of us?" he questioned, leaning forward so he was balancing on the balls of his hind legs. It annoyed him, leaders who thought that they were the most powerful, high ranks that thought they could just tell everyone else what to do and expect them to follow every single order down to the last consonant like good little warriors, he hated cats who abused their power for their own gain. He stood up in a blink of an eye and glared at the leader "This is a Gathering where we all are equal you have no right ordering everyone around." he growled, his baratone voice was even lower than before. His lapis hues, that before only held the embers of a fire, were now filled with a passionate, furious wild fire.

The white and ginger molly shuffled again hearing voices being raised and the peaceful silenced conversations melting away like snow. Her tail curled behind her and her fur began to bristle again, naturally she would've expected somebody getting heated about something but with this seemingly un passible barrier of battle tensions and the impending doom of picking a side. Why of all clans did windclan have to the be the clan that was here starting things. At least snowstar would've been decent towards shadowclan but no. Here we have two strong headed leaders that are just ready to fight about anything, it was a night of truce! To tell each other how we where doing and just enjoy commune with each other. It all seemed so impossible now with everyone ready with the slightest bit of resistance to pull out tooth and claw just to get a point across. She was brought out of her thoughts when auroraflame asked about her name change. She want too sure she wanted to explain the whole story here but she supposed she could do it some other time. "I'll tell you later, I think we are about to start" she glanced upwards for the first time during the night to see fallenstar trying to put blazingstar in his place which made her stomach churn. Fallenstar was a strong leader and she admired the fact during his first gathering as leader he was making sure the windclan leader knew his place and assured everyone they where equals, but she feared for him. Blazingstar had been a leader longer than he had and he certainly didn't seem like he was in the mood for any of fallenstars attempts to ensure peace.
She dropped her gaze back down as her stomach filled with fear and butterflies tickled her chest. She offered a quesy smile towards the windclan deputy as auroraflame introduced herself and she dipped her head in a docile and peaceful way. "Rowanflower, riverclans deputy" she greeted stiffly curling her long bushy tail around her paws and she straightened up again. In fact It was her first gathering just like buttercupbreeze but she didn't seem as scared and that made her a little uncomfortable. She glanced back up at fallenstar a third time than back at the cream coloured she cat and back and forth for a while until she was able to finally calm herself down just enough. To get her mind off of fallenstar and blazingstar she attempted to make a little small talk just to keep her busy til things got serious "wonder where Shadowclan and thunderclan got themselves stuck" she wpsaid with a dry laugh.

Golden hues flicked towards Grousestar for a moment before the orange tabby gave him a dip of his head in greeting finally. The only feline here to have received that by far. He didn't question who the new deputy was, quite frankly, he didn't care cause she smelled of the ocean and fish. Disgusting. However, Blazingstar attempted being polite as the other tabby questioned his motives. "The moon is at it's highest, we cannot wait any longer, if they join late, they can announce their news, otherwise StarClan won't have an issue with us moving along for the sake of our clans," he tried to explain to Grousestar. He knew SkyClan was still rather new to this whole gathering thing, so he didn't mind answering, but the quick air of peace around him disintegrated quickly.
The blacklash from Fallenstar caught Blazingstar off guard. Quickly, the tabby turned his head to stare at the dark feline. The audacity! His ears flicked and turned slightly towards the sound of a familiar voice in the crowd: Fireflare. It only encouraged him. Blazingstar's hues narrowed with challenge at the other leader. "Oh, I'm sorry Fallenstar, did you want to wait here in the cold all night for two clans that are clearly late? Do your elders want to be aching from being out here too long? Did you wanna be held responsible for queens not getting back to their hungry kits? If so, be my guest and sit here longer, but WindClan will give their announcements with or without your traitorous clan's approval," he half growled. Fluffy tail tip twitching with thought, the orange tabby turned his attention back to the crowd below. He couldn't bare looking into the eyes of the clan leader who turned his back on him and threw the alliance they had with the previous leader away. Fallenstar had been Russetstar's deputy, he of all cats should've known better!

At first, aside from the air of tension and annoyance from the Windclan leader, everything seemed to be particularly fine. No sharp words had been thrown, no insults really. Grousestar even began to think that maybe things would finally get back to how they should be. He was glad to see that Blazingstar returned his greeting with a nod; glad to see that the tom didn't hold any sort of grudge against him, even though he wouldn't be sure what the grudge would be on anyways. Perhaps because they chose to stay out of the fight, but I digress.
"I see..." Grousestar said slowly with a small nod of his head, gaze flickering back to the sea of cats below them, waiting for them to start. But, just as soon as the Skyclan tom thought that things would go smoothly, they started to crumble. Fallenstar snapping and questioning the Windclan leader on his authority, to which the golden tom was quick to fire back. Sighing heavily, and certainly loud enough for both of the other leaders to hear, the brown tabby would close his eyes.
"How about instead of starting another argument, we act like the leaders we are and simply start this gathering? Hm?" His emerald eyes would open again and flicker their gaze from one tom to the other, clear and heavy annoyance shown within them. He wasn't trying to hide it this time. One gathering where there was violence was more than enough, he did not want to go through it again. He might even start to regret moving his clan here given enough of this.

The leader fluffed up as the ginger tabby snapped back at him. He knew he was pushing it, it was his first gathering as a leader, he was still getting used to ordering his clanmates around, but he would not stand for another thinking they could do whatever they wished, just because they held authority. He let out a snarl and took a step closer to the Windclan leader, to the point where he could feel the other's breath tickling his maw. " Yes I do, it's called respect" he barked, pure anger dripped from every consonant he spoke, every dip and pitch of his voice practically oozed with anger, it was clear that the ebony tom was irked. "My elders won't mind, nor will my queens or kits, my clanmembers know how to be polite to even the clans we've fought against, we know how to show our respect." he growled. The ebony tom knew he was making a decision that effected the whole clan, but he had an itching feeling that maybe, maybe they agreed with him.

Fallenstar was yanked out of his thoughts at the insult the ginger leader threw at him, at his clanmates. He let out a snarl and roughly stepped in front of Blazingstar and 'accidentally' pushed him back, his lapis hues practically blazed with hatred. "Traitorous you say?" he growled, shoving himself, once again, in the Windclan leaders face, his lapis hues locking on with Blazingstar's amber ones. "Our Alliance with Snowstar wasn't set in stone until some low life clan decided to attack them in their own clearing." he growled, his tail fluffed up and lashing behind him. "It was a spit second decision, Riverclan decided to help the clan that needed it the most, and two against one hardly seemed like a fair fight." he sneered. What kind of weak tom would attack a clan the way Windclan and Shadowclan attacked Thunderclan, putting kits, queens, and elders at risk, how despicable. "Not that you'd give a fox's butt. All you care about is winning and flaunting your power. It's Disgusting." he spat. His words came fumbling out of his maw, no filter, no nothing, the ebony tom practically barfed out everything that was on his mind, no sugar coating anything.

He ripped his focus away from Blazingstar, and instead, directed his pure rage upon Grousestar. Though the brown tabby hadn't done anything, the leader was still ticked off by the Skyclan leader. It was because he didn't do anything, of course it would be a little hard to do anything but pick a side and fight. The Skyclan leader, to his assumption, had been a leader much longer than he, Blazingstar, Goldenstar, or Snowstar had been, and yet he decided to let the four duke it out. "Why don't you stay out of this, just like you stayed out of the war." he growled. "You've shown that you want no part in this, so don't try and insert yourself now." he barked, then returned his flaming gaze back upon Blazingstar.

“Nice to meet you,” Auroraflame said warmly. “I’m sure you’ll do well as WindClan’s new deputy.” In all honesty, the deputy had no idea at all as to whether Buttercupbreeze would be a good deputy or not, but it seemed like the right thing to say. A nice boost of confidence to help her along this new journey.
The other she-cat beside her spoke up and she turned her icy gaze to rest it on Rowanflower. For a moment, the she-cat sat there, processing the other cat’s words and trying to remember the question that she’d asked in the first place. That’s right! I was asking about her name change, she thought suddenly. Auroraflame could be very forgetful at times, but she could scold her mind for being forgetful later as it appeared that something was happening up upon the large rocks. She followed Rowanflower’s gaze and looked up at Fallenstar and Blazingstar, who appeared to be getting into an argument. The she-cat listened with a blank expression. She didn’t say anything or do anything. Or rather, she wasn’t sure of what she could do or say. She wasn’t a leader so technically she shouldn’t be interrupting them, which is why she sat still and gazed at each leader in turn as he spoke.
In her personal opinion, Auroraflame found that Blazingstar had come off maybe a bit too harshly. They hadn’t been waiting for that long and it wouldn’t hurt to wait for just a little longer, yet she was pretty sure that his hatred for ThunderClan was fueling him to say those words. That and whatever traditions the other four clans had when it came to gatherings. Part of her agreed with Fallenstar’s response, although for a new leader, she didn’t think it was right for him to be rebuking a more experienced leader like that. There could’ve been at least a little bit of respect. But instead he had just said everything with a blunt tone and no intention of sugar coating anything.
She turned to look at Blazingstar as he responded and now she found herself agreeing with the orange tabby. The inky feline couldn’t seem to pick a side. She agreed with both toms yet there was fault in the words that each of them spoke. Thank StarClan Grousestar had chosen to stay out of it, otherwise she would be questioning any alliances that they had by now. Another voice suddenly came into the picture and the she-cat shifted her gaze once more. Rather than the source of the voice being Blazingstar or Fallenstar, Auroraflame was relieved to see that it was Grousestar. Hopefully he would be able to calm the other two leaders down. His calming words didn’t appear to work though as Fallenstar spoke again. The RiverClan leader was already riled up, a newly made apprentice would be able to see that. Auroraflame felt the urge to speak up but she decided that she had no say in this. She wasn’t involved in any of this drama so she didn’t have to say anything. This was an argument between the two clans, SkyClan was left out of it and most of her was glad for that.
The deputy’s eyes widened in shock as the ebony tom insulted Blazingstar. Even if she wasn’t a WindClanner, she still found Fallenstar’s words quite offensive and had she been apart of WindClan, she would’ve spoken up in Blazingstar’s defense. But she wasn’t a WindClanner, her loyalty was to SkyClan and Grousestar. Auroraflame turned her body to face the orange tabby expectantly, but before he could respond, Fallenstar continued. He appeared to be directing his words at Grousestar. The she-cat stayed silent and listened as the RiverClan leader growled at her leader. With each word, the stiffer her body became and the quicker the warmth left her expression. The tom cat was just being plainly disrespectful now. At first she’d had no say in this argument, but Fallenstar had insulted Grousestar’s experience and that meant that she absolutely had the right to say something.
“Fallenstar, may I remind you that you’re a new leader here whereas Grousestar has had moons of experience. He was wise to keep his clan out of this and I would suggest you show some respect to him.” She made sure her voice was projected loudly so that Fallenstar couldn’t possibly pretend that he hadn’t heard her. She had kept her voice calm and collected in an attempt to appear harmless, but her icy hues had failed her. With her eyes colder than ever, she gazed up in defiance at Fallenstar.

It wasn’t really a second after Auroraflame that the leaders talk silenced the three of them, or at least Auroraflame and herself. She had to learn if buttercupbreeze was the type of cat to jaunt in at any given time and force her opinion into other people’s faces. Another shiver went spiraling down her spine as the words where exchanged between the leaders. Honestly fallenstar was attacking both leaders and she wasn’t sure how she was going to support fallenstar in his choices to defend himself so harshly. And well blazingstar was being curt both leaders thought they where doing rightly so while Grousestar tried his best not to have the gathering flipped over. She purses her lips and her shoulders tightened up, like Auroraflame had been considering she was waiting for the right moment to hop in and attempt to calm everyone. Her motherly side was seriously forcing its way into her mind making her see it from completely opposing angles, And in a way all leaders where kinda correct in some things. Her tail waved over the roots of a long since gone tree that had most likely fallen from the erosion. Rowanflame was small but she was certainly built like any other warrior and was tempted to leapt up in front of everyone and try to assure fallenstar he should drop it. Your not the leader, your his deputy, your NOT his mother! she scolded herself dropping her gaze away and pressed her chin into her chest trying her hardest to not yell out.
That’s when Auroraflame spoke up and her ears perked and she raised her head. Even though Auroraflame was her friend or she’d like to think that there was a level of blockage that prohibited them from being too close. Their highranks. As she spoke up to fallenstar she couldn’t help but recoil. Than she mentioned blazingstar and her chest seemed to tense up. We could never be enemies with skyclan! Oh please fallenstar don’t be curt with Grousestar. Anybody but grousestar. she had chosen not to speak for fear of saying something wrong do she just sat with all her limbs pulled in close and fear radiating off her. This was supposed to be my first gathering as a highrank. Two clans missing and the remaining three fighting. her muscles tensed up and she shuffled again trying to avert her gaze from the deputies. Espically buttercupbreeze, if she spoke out she felt as though the she cat had no place telling fallenstar off because she was new and of course Rowanflower would have something to say about it for sure. But for now her lips where screwed shut and her ears pinned to the back of her head. “Please stop...” she whispered under her breath before looking back up at the leaders trying to catch fallenstars gaze and to reassure him with her own.

Buttercupbreeze was almost relieved when Auroraflame encouraged her that she'd do well. Maybe, just maybe she'd get along with the other deputies. Auroraflame seamed nice, calm and collected a lot like Grousestar, Rowanflower seamed okay for a RiverClanner she didn't seam to be anything like Fallenstar witch made Buttercup question why she had been chosen. Before the creamy ginger molly could say a word more Blazingstar and Fallenstar continued their argument. This made the new deputy nervous, more so then she had already been. Clam yourself Buttercup! Blazingstar knows what he's doing. She told herself talking a small breath. As Fallenstar continued Buttercup flecked her claws a few times as if needing the rock she was on, not enough to make much nose though. Her brownish eyes flicked to Grousestar as he began to talk. Grousestar made since, she had to admit,
starting the gathering would be the smartest idea. Yes, Fallenstar just has to agree and we will be good. The molly told herself a flicker of hope that Fallenstar wouldn't be a rabbit brain. But no, Fallenstar had to snap at the SkyClan leader to. This aggravated Buttercupbreeze but she held her tongue, trusting that Blazingstar would know what to do. Because she had no idea what to say but she was tired of the RiverClan leader's high and mighty act. The bushy tail of this molly flicked behind her in a slow beat. Hearing Auroraflame she glanced from the leaders to the Bombay feline, was that wise? She could only wonder. The SkyClan deputy was more experienced and older then herself, she believed. Buttercup took another deep breath trying to make herself stay calm. All this fighting and Fallenstar's insults to WindClan was getting to her but she literary bit her tongue to keep quiet. You can't just star fighting in the middle of a Gathering. Expressly your first as deputy. You have only been deputy for a few sun rises, remember that Buttercup. She added to herself. All the fighting, external and internal was making her a bit dizzy she flattened her ears trying not to glare or anything at the RiverClan leader. Her ear picked back up as she heard the not so familiar quiet voice of Rowanflower. Was she asking Fallenstar to stop? Or all the leaders? She glanced at the ginger patched molly a bit surprised. The voices of the three leaders seemed to ring in her ears. Shacking her head slightly she looked back up at the leaders hoping that Blazingstar would do whatever he needed to. Please, StarClan, stop this fight and let it end peacefully. She plead silently. Please...

The brown tabby leader found his gaze settling on Fallenstar, as he seemed to be the first one to respond after he had spoken his piece, and also seemed to be the one getting riled up quicker than anyone else.
Why must he do this? Is it because he's a new leader, he feels he must make a name for himself? Is that his reasoning? His mind pondered, his face like stone, his normal cheery demeanor wiped clean to show absolutely nothing. He saw the dark-furred tom snarl and step closer to the Windclan leader, radiating his anger. But for right now, he remained seated, watching them, jaw loosely clenched and muscles taught, but not to the point where it was painful. He was ready to step in where it was necessary. But he could feel his own frustration rising up in his throat like bile. He didn't bring Skyclan to liberate these clans just so they can go at each others throats, as if they didn't all share the same hardships. He could understand frustration, as he was feeling now, and even anger, but when you were the leader of a clan, you had to hold that back. Especially when at a gathering. You couldn't be reckless, or you would seem like nothing more than a kit with the suffix of star. Grousestar was a cat of faith, and the last thing he wanted was to bring down the wrath of Starclan because he couldn't contain his emotions on the one night where it mattered.

The Riverclan and Windclan leader exchanged more hostile words before Grousestar finally did say something, though he worded it carefully as to not show the extent of his frustration. But what was said next caught him just slightly off guard. His emerald gaze focused solely on Fallenstar, pupils narrowing as he was told to stay out of it. Ordered as if he wasn't the very leader of Skyclan, but rather some insubordinate warrior of Riverclan.
Now Grousestar could take criticism, but when it came to being talked down upon. As if he didn't have the experience, or authority of clan leader. As if he could be told to do something by anyone other than the cats he cared for. That's when he stopped it. No cat had the right to tell him to do anything.
His gaze flickered down to look at Auroraflame as she spoke up, the Skyclan leader nodding to her. She was a good deputy, and knew when to speak her mind, he appreciated it. He would have to personally thank her later for that. But for now, he had to deal with this.

Turning his head back to Fallenstar, Grousestar stood up. Now Grousestar was a tall cat, not terrifyingly tall, but certainly tall by any means. The warm, polite look that was originally in his eyes when he first greeted the Riverclan leader was gone.
"I appreciate your advice, Fallenstar. But I believe I know how to lead my clan and may very well insert myself into any business I deem necessary. And this, is most certainly necessary business to be inserted in to.
You are not the only clan here, and your continued aggression towards each other is a danger to us all. This is a night of truce, and it should be kept that way. Arguing and fighting can be saved for any other day, or night, but when it comes to the gathering, you need to contain yourself." His voice was cold and even held a somewhat harsh note to it. But he did not appear angry, or upset at all. He made sure to keep his face completely and utterly neutral.

Blazingstar's eyes narrowed in anger now. Fallenstar was being ridiculous! When the dark feline swung towards Grousestar and let his aggression out on the SkyClan leader, Blazingstar rose to his paws. Despite his normally kind personality, he was going to take advantage of his moment of RiverClan's weakness. Perhaps it was time SkyClan decided their side and hopefully that side would be his. "You talk like I have no respect for anyone around here, when you're the one here starting a fight and challenging authority of two other leaders!" he half growled, his fluffy tail lashed behind him. The words that left his mouth next were uncensored and meant with every fiber of his being. "If you were half the leader Russetstar was, you wouldn't have turned your back on WindClan. You were his deputy and you knew of that alliance, yet you chose to throw it away like nothing and you certainly wouldn't be disrespecting the clan that we all are in debt to! A little hypocritical, don't you think Fallenstar? Russetstar should've chosen better," he spoke, lifting his chin in defiance. Blazingstar wasn't going to swing paws at Fallenstar, but if the other leader was childish enough to, the war that would break out in the clearing would be on his paws, not Blazingstars. Blazingstar looked down upon the deputies, noting how Rowanflower too seemed to be disapproving of the leader. That was amusing, however he didn't say anything about it nor did he voice his thoughts after Auroraflame voiced her opinion. Grousestar could defend himself now and that's what Blazingstar was hoping he'd do. Of course, jumping in would hopefully catch the good side to the tabby leader.

Clouds quickly covered the moon during this chaos causing the clearing to grow dark and moments afterwards, everyone was silenced by yowling. The fluffy orange tom could feel small drops of rain beginning to fall from the sky, but he chose to ignore it to listen to the the warrior coming. Ears pricking, forgetting what was happening around him, he found his jaw dropping as a long warrior came racing towards them calling for RiverClan's leader. It appeared StarClan wasn't happy with what was going on because just before the warrior could reach them a loud crack of lightning shook the clearing and sent chills down Blazingstar's spine. His golden hues widened in shock as the bolt hit a tree which came crashing down on the warrior. At this point, Blazingstar was at a loss for words. He had witnessed a death that he assumed was sentenced upon them from StarClan. Quickly, he searched the other two leader's expressions, looking for something to go off of.

A gentle murmur of shock rippled through the sea of cats below as clouds drifted towards them from the sea front, dark ominous and approching quite fast. She wasn't surprised the amount of unrest that it was causing and she could see every other cat starting to see them too. Blazingstar had attacked fallenstar verbally when he compared the tom to russetstar. Admittedly that was a step in the wrong direction but any step from any leader at this point seemed to be leaning the wrong way. She couldn't help but stiffen and hope fallenstar took it well which he problably wouldn't. Suddenly a crack of lighting shot through the sky illuminating everyone in the darkening land. She shot a harsh glance up the leaders, they should all know better than to act like kits. Though fallenstar had began the fight it didn't matter in the big scale as personally everyone attacked each other. Besides the gathering was going to come to abrupt close if this didn't stop and no matter how much she didn't wanna have the conversation, they needed to figure themselves out. The white and ginger spotted tabby stood flashing a glance at the deputies beside her before dipping her head gently to the leaders, "Though we have our differences isn't it time we set those aside for the greater good?" she said tail lashing. Everything that she had said was directed at all leaders and In favour of nobody. Though she should have her loyalties remain with her clan and faith in her leader she couldn't quite find herself thinkng any of what any leader was saying was good. "I don't mean to upset you all but I believe your acting like kits, Fallenstar may have started it but leaders who have wisdom must know to be kind on one who simply has just started"
she said gently her gaze averted. Just than she was going to open her mouth again when a second shot of lighting came spiking through the air dangerously close to the group of cats below when it struck a tree nearby. "We are all in the wrong no matter how much you believe your actions are justified, this is not what starclan wants!" Than a split second later the tree branch exploded into sparks and it groaned until the whole thing fell crushing a cat beneath and for a split second the deputy stood in absolute horror. Her claws dug into the earth And she staggered with shock. "Look what we've done!" she said to nobody in particular her face ridden with shock fear and anger. A life had been lost today and it was all because they hadn't set these things aside for one night. She was tempted to leap down and proceed to check if the warrior was actually dead but she remained where she was her horror filled gaze studying the fallen tree. Gentle raindrops flitted down from the sky dotting her oelt every free seconds as the weather seemed to pick up. The deputy quickly sat down pulling her limbs closer to her body and hunching over. She had said her bit, a cat had died, and starclan was angry. What could be better?

The warrior swung his head around and gave the ebony deputy a glare, his lapis hues blazed with pure anger. He swiveled his body so that he wasn't craning his neck. He flashed the deputy his fangs and lashed his tail, though, he didn't lift his chin, he didn't look down on her, he held every feline gathered on this rock with respect, even Blazingstar, he refused to become one who looked down upon others because of his rank. "There's no difference between a Warrior and a Leader, both fight for their clan, both call the shots, both lead with dignity, and both give everything they can to protecting their clan and their beliefs." he started, his voice sickingly low, monotone. "The only difference is that a leader has 9 chances to fix their mistakes, while a warrior has 1." he finished. He could tell she was trying her hardest, he could tell that she was brave. "And I never said I didn't respect his decision, I'm just disappointed, there's only a certain amount of help neutrality can give a clan before it's just the same as ignoring the problem at paw." he scoffed, his attention then turning to the Skyclan leader. The ebony tom didn't think he'd ever seen the tabby annoyed, never thought he'd seen such anger radiate off the, usually calm and friendly, leader. He took a second to process the toms annoyance, and of course, Fallenstar didn't plan on backing down. He bit is tongue and took a step toward the tabby, his ears pinned to his skull. "Swallowing everything down is only going to do so much." he spat, the bile rising in his throat.

He wanted to get rid of it, spit it all out, barf it all out. Anything to get rid of this parasite that clung to his mind, blighted his thoughts, ate away at his soul, ripped apart his heart, it was killing him from the inside out. The tom paled and panic flashed across his face, he could feel it rising up his throat. He swallowed it down with a fair amount of effort, but what the orange tabby said next made him almost puke. It was the very core of his fear, the very reason for all the sickness that plagued him, plagued his mind, his being. He let out a growl and snarled at the Windclan leader, he wanted to leap, he wanted to claw at the orange tabby, he wanted to harm him as much as he possibly could, but the thought of that only made his head hurt worse and only made his thoughts louder, the voices screamed at him. He turned his gaze to the ground and hunched his shoulders, practically going limp. "Don't you think I know that?" he asked, his voice low, so low one would have to lean in to hear it. Fuzzy. Everything was fuzzy and loud, a ringing in his ears, it drove him insane. After a second the tom swung his head up and glared at Blazingstar, his lapis optics filled with pure detestation. " I didn't even want to become the deputy in the first place, much less a leader!" he cried, flashing his fangs.

He heard the thunder, and saw a flash of lightning, than the tree, landing square on a cat. He didn't flinch. He didn't pull his gaze away from Blazingstar, his blue hues were glued to the toms face, the cold glare that held the passionate flame of hatred. The only thing that pulled him out of his trance was his deputy, Rowanflower, yelling, practically screaming, at them. The fact that not even his deputy had faith in him broke him, his last final thread of hope, shattered. He was no longer Fallenstar, rather, the parasite took over, infested him, and took control. He whipped his head around and was about to snap at the ginger molly, but everything he was going to say caught in his throat the moment he saw her. Except it wasn't her that he saw, it was Honeypool. The ebony feline quickly made his way over to her, nudged her toward the direction that would easily get her off the rock, then stopped. "Riverclan is taking it's leave." he stated, refusing to look at the two leaders. "Helping Thunderclan was only supposed to be a one time event...but it seems as though we are now permanent allies. All ties Windclan had with Riverclan are now cut." he said, no emotion in his voice, no anger, no defeat, no worry, no sadness. Monotone. As if all his emotions vanished with that stroke of lightning. That his very being vanished, that what made Fallenstar Fallenstar...was gone, killed off. He made his way down the mound, hiding his face from the leaders and his clanmates the best he could, and made his way off the island, expecting Riverclan to do the same.

Ah, he puked.

Grousestar would glance over at Blazingstar as he rose in response to Fallenstar turning his anger upon him, something that he was actually vaguely surprised to see. Not because he expected the Windclan leader to dislike him, he honestly didn't expect any of the leaders to dislike him so even Fallenstar's rage was a bit surprising to him; but rather his surprise was stemmed because he didn't see Blazingstar as the tom to stand up for another leader as he was doing now. He seemed somewhat like a tom who wanted to focus more on his own clan than protecting the reputation of another clan leader. Perhaps he was going it to try and make an ally of Skyclan, and it certainly put the thought into Grousestar's head. Or maybe he was doing it just to spite Fallenstar and put him in the wrong, just to make himself look better. Regardless of the reasoning, he fell quiet as the Windclan leader rounded on the Riverclan leader again. He would not be brought to argue, even what he had said, while harsh, was not meant to be argued in any way. He would keep his cool, would refrain from insulting him, or talk down upon him. All he had done so far, was assert his own power and reasoning. Nothing more. The words that fell from the Windclan leaders mouth were harsh, but Grousestar said nothing to stop them. Part of him was left wondering the same thing, had Russetstar chosen poorly? Had he picked a deputy that would bring about total war for Riverclan? It surely seemed to be headed that way.

His gaze flickered upwards warily, the harsh look in his eyes disappearing as he realized that more and more clouds were beginning to cover the moon and soon rumbled of thunder were heard. Even if he hadn't been to as many gatherings as the other leaders, he knew that this was a sign from Starclan. This arguing was getting worse, it was bringing about the very anger from Starclan. "This needs to stop." He murmured, though it was lost in a crash of thunder, the brown tabby flinching as it struck a branch, his eyes following it as it crushed a yowling cat beneath it. His blood ran cold and he shook his head. "Skyclan is leaving. Auroraflame, gather everyone and meet me by that boulder. We will leave as soon as we have everyone." Rain poured, soaking through his short fur. His gaze flickered to Fallenstar for a moment, pupils narrowed before he leaped from the stones and briskly maneuvered through the crowd, gathering what warriors he could and meeting at the boulder to wait for Auroraflame and the rest of his clan members before leaving. What have they done? For how long would Starclan be angry?

Buttercupbreeze watched as the leaders contentioned to fight. Her brownish hued eyes flicked from one tom to the next. Should she jump in? Was it right for Auroraflame to jump in? All this ran though her mind like a bolt of lighting. No, Blazingstar has this. He has been leader a lot longer then you have been deputy. She reminded herself. The creamy ginger molly moved her claws in and out as if needing the ground. She felt a chill down her spine as the wind blew and the clouds grew. Glancing up at the sky that was normally clear with the full moon floating above, she saw a black sky littered with storm clouds. She was opening her moth to say something, not sure what yet but Rowanflower spoke first. It was a bit of relief. The other deputy didn't pick sides and seamed to try to be polite, possibly. Buttercupbreeze was honesty surprised by this, lately she's been surprised by any 'kind' act done by a high rank from RiverClan or ThunderClan. The WindClan deputy watched the RiverClan molly closely her head only jerking away when a bolt of lighting shot though the sky. The flash lit up everything reveling a tom in the descent but was gonna in a split second. She flattened her ears as Rowanflower started yowling about how it was not what StarClan wanted. Brownish hued eyes flicking from each of the cats around her landing on Blazingstar. She was going to ask if he wanted to leave but the loud rumble of thunder and flash of lighting made her whip Herr head around. Flames devoured the branch as it feel, straight for a warrior who looked sacred for his life. Buttercup jumped to her paws to do something,
but it was already to late, the flashing branch land on the warrior. No! She thought not pealing her eyes from the flaming branch. This is not what I meant! You didn't have to kill that tom to stop the fight! She added her heart pounding. The rain soaked her creamy ginger fur as it pounded down on the ground. It played with the fire making it crackle and flash. The molly didn't even tar her eyes away as Rowanflower yelled. She didn't even know who he was. "Blazingstar?" She asked as Fallenstar and Grousestar headed away. Finely she Tared her gaze away to look at her leader. "Would you like me to gather WindClan?"

Blazingstar narrowed his gaze sharply at Fallenstar. His yellow hues matched those of the leader's blue ones easily. He wasn't scared of the RiverClan leader. Fallenstar was making a fool of himself if anything. Turning his back on every clan it seemed, and even his own deputy. It was a pitiful thing. Russetstar didn't choose the correct feline for this job. Now three clans knew that. Blazingstar hoped that RiverClan could see it too; their leader was crazy. He only had a few words to say bluntly back to Fallenstar before the leader turned away from them: "No cat is stopping you from resigning."

The death of the warrior didn't seem to phase Fallenstar. It was honestly concerning, but Blazingstar simply watched as the leader nudged his deputy away and gathered RiverClan. He turned his attention to Grousestar, giving the leader a disheartening look. Was the SkyClan leader regretting coming here now? SkyClan would learn that they settled things a different way. Nothing was ever truly peaceful. The orange tabby gave the brown feline a small dip of his head before turning to Buttercupbreeze. He let out a frustrated sigh before nodding. "Yes, gather WindClan, we will be on our way too. There's no use in soaking the clan in this rain for longer than needed," he replied before bounding off the Seastones and awaiting for his clan mates to follow him home.

The ebony feline was growing angrier with each word that Fallenstar spoke. His words weren’t particularly offensive at first, in fact, they just sounded like the words mentor would say to an ambitious apprentice, but his last couple of sentences made her fume. “I never said you had to respect his decision. I simply said you should show him some respect as a leader. There was no need for you to growl at him," she snarled. Auroraflame wasn’t even trying to be calm at this point. She was getting sick of Fallenstar’s rude remarks and she just wanted him to be quiet and go away. Grousestar was doing his best to remain peaceful with the tone of his voice, but the deputy wasn’t trying one bit. She wanted Fallenstar to see the anger radiating off of her.
Auroraflame then looked away and did her best to ignore anything Fallenstar was saying. Instead, she focused her attention on the thunder that boomed in the dark sky. She gazed at the crowd of cats and noticed how there were many panicked faces amongst the three clans. Was this normal? Was something supposed to happen if the weather got this bad?

The rain poured down and the wind whipped at her, sending shivers running through her body from the cold. She looked back up at the leaders to see if anything had happened and it appeared that she’d looked up just in time to hear Fallenstar’s cry. “Step down then if you don’t want this,” she said, doing her best to make sure her voice could be heard over the brewing storm. Her face was pulled in an expression that basically said 'duh. isn't it obvious?'. Her remark came nearly at the same time as Blazingstar’s, but perhaps just a second afterwards. She gazed up at Fallenstar, rather surprised at his admission. If he really didn’t want this position so much, why was he still here? Why didn’t he step down before things got out of hand and he had nine lives? She wasn’t sure if something was keeping him from resigning or if he known that resigning was an option. Either way, she doubted that this was a good thing for RiverClan.

Auroraflame was still deep in thought as she stared up at the RiverClan leader, but sound of thunder and a loud thud made her whip her head around. She stared wide eye and tried to figure out what was going on. In amongst the panicked cats, she could see a heap of fur poking out from beneath the broken branch. The she-cat shuddered and Auroraflame was already moving as Grousestar issued her the order. After sending one last dark glance in Fallenstar’s direction, she dipped her head to the other deputies and rose to her paws and scurried forward briskly. She slipped through the crowd and gathered as many warriors as she could before moving towards the boulder to join Grousestar and the other warriors.

She felt the cold rain sink into her fur and all the voices drown about behind her like she was the only one there. Everyone moved on like the life had meant nothing, instead the leaders kept yelling at each other all for what? If she hadn’t been soaked to the bone her hackles would have raised but she remained facing the branch looking miserable and small. Than she felt a gentle nudge at her shoulder and found fallenstar at her shoulder. She jerked her head to the side shamefully, had she missed instruction? But the gentle nudge was very accepting and she hasn’t expected it from him since the way she had looked at her was terrifying, even blazingstar had picked up on that. She leapt down the rocks with him heaving colds breathe as the rain continued to poor down on them. “You did good, or at least I think you did” she barely whispered under her breath as she walked, it didn’t matter if he wanted her dead, it didn't matter if he hated her. Everybody deserves to be loved and defended, he seemed to be struggling and she was willing to bet he felt lonely. I’m not your deputy, I’m going to be your friend, your shoulder, your rock even if you don’t want me. This is my goal fallenstar, let starclan hear it. she popped out of her thoughts hearing the other cats speak behind her, True fighting wasn’t ideal at a gathering but fallenstar had let those others know he wasn’t going to be pushed over. Like it should be.
