The staff is delighted to announce there'll be a new plot taking place during this month's Gathering, and you can read the basis below.

While departing for the Gathering, ThunderClan and ShadowClan cross paths. Snowstar and Passionblaze, still bitter over the attack on their camp and Goldenstar's alliance to Blazingstar, angrily confront Goldenstar and Halfgaze over his decision and a verbal fight breaks out. Once Passionblaze escalates the fight into a physical one, violence erupts amongst all cats.
It begins to storm. With ThunderClan and ShadowClan fighting in the rain, their movements are slowed by the thick mud and some cats end up getting lost when they slip into the swelling river. The situation quickly spirals out of control, and Snowstar dispatches a messenger to ask for assistance from Fallenstar.
Meanwhile, the other three Clans have already arrived at Seastones and have to begin the Gathering without the missing Clans. Blazingstar confronts Fallenstar over his perceived betrayal, and an argument breaks out between the two when Fallenstar defends his choice. A frustrated Grousestar intervenes in an attempt to keep the peace.
Clouds cover the moon as the thundershower rages on. The Gathering begins to disperse due to StarClan's anger. The messenger sent by ThunderClan arrives, however lightning strikes a branch above the messenger's path -- it ends up squishing the messenger before they can relay the request to Fallenstar.
Back on the battlefield, the fight finally breaks up when it's obvious the weather would only impede them and the two Clans return home, tensions as high as ever between them.
