Luna is a sleek black cat with a white chest, paws and tip of her tail. She has a white collar with a gray name tag.

Solar jumped on top of his sister Luna, him being younger meant he was smaller the tan tom purred.

"Solar, get off!" Luna said, shaking her little brother off. "Luna, be nice to your brother!" Socks, their father, said.

"Yeah Luna." Solar jumped on her again.

Luna growled. "Come on!" She wailed. Socks chuckled. "Solar, be nice to your sister too." He said.

"I am being nice." Solar mewed. "I'm just playing."

"But how do you know Luna wants to play?" Socks said. "Yeah Solar." Luna said, sticking her tongue out at Solar.

Solar stuck his tongue back at her.

"You guys go in the backyard if you're that bored." Socks said. "Sweet!" Luna said, shaking her brother off and dashing to the flap on the door.

Luna slipped outside. She looked up and saw their mother hop onto the fence. "Luna! Solar! Hello!" She said, jumping down. "Hi momma!" Luna purred.

"Momma!" Solar ran up and stopped right in front of her.

Sky smiled and licked Solar's head. "Hi sweetheart." She purred. Luna dashed to the flap. "Daddy, momma's here!" She called. Socks padded outside and smiled. "Hey Sky." He purred, walking over.

Solar purred in delight.

"What're you guys doing?" Sky asked. "Nothing right now." Luna said.

Solar laid where he was.

"How about you go play with Angie across the street?" Sky suggested. "But Angie's older than us and he can't play fun games anymore." Luna said. "Luna." Socks said, looking at her. Luna sighed. "Come on Solar." She said, nudged her brother.

"I don't wanna go." He said. "Angie doesn't play fun games."

"Momma and daddy want us to go." Luna meowed.

"I'll get you the cream later." Luna said.

Solar instantly shot up. "Really?"

"Let's go!" He said.

Luna jumped onto the fence and into the front yard.

Luna picked Solar up and dashed across the street so she didn't have to wait for him. (Luna's like me XD)

Solar tried to fight it for a moment before just letting her carry him.

Luna set Solar down and walked to the door, scratching it. "Angie!' She shouted. The russet colored tom poked his head out of the flap and grinned. "Luna, Solar! Come in!" He purred.

Solar grinned and walked in.

Luna walked in after him and looked at the fancy looking house. "Wow. This house has changed." (Bai bro gonna go for bit)

Angie nodded. "My housefolk redecorated and went to a place called "Ikea"." He said. (IKEAAAA XD) "Ohhhh." Luna said.

Angie jumped onto a shelf and threw down some yarn. "Play with this, it's fun." He said. Luna caught it and set it down and watched it unravel across the living room.

Solar chased it as it unraveled.

Luna laughed as she watched her little brother. Angie threw down a ball and it bounced around. "COOL!" Luna chased after it, jumping up and trying to grab it.

Solar came back when there was no more yarn.

Angie threw another toy down to Solar. "IT'S STILL BOUNCING!!!" Luna laughed, chasing it into the kitchen.

Solar went to chase that toy as well.

Luna jumped up and grabbed the ball. "I GOT IT!"

Solar ran back up to them.

Luna pricked her ears. "I think it's one to go Solar." She said.

"Aww. Can we stay a little longer?" He asked. (This is my little sisters)

"Solar..." Luna started. She smirked. "You won't get your cream if you don't go home."

Solar stared at her for a moment. "Ok fine." He said disappointed.

"We'll come back tommorow." Luna promised as she walked to the door.

Solar followed. "Can you carry me?" He asked.

Luna smiled. "On my back or by the scruff?" She meowed.

He yawned. "I don't care."

Luna smiled and picked up her little brother and placed him on her back and walked back to their house.

Solar closed his eyes., not going to sleep.

"You're tired, aren't you?" Luna purred as she slipped through the flap.

"No. Not tired." He said quietly.

"You are." Luna meowed, laying him down in his bed. She laid in her own. "I'll get your cream in the morning, okay?" She yawned.

"Ok....." After that, he fell asleep.

Luna yawned and fell asleep. Socks and Sky smiled as the two fell asleep.

Luna made sure the twolegs weren't awake before climbing the shelves of the fridge to get Solar his cream. "Lu, I'll get it." Socks said, taking her down and getting it for her. "Thanks dad!" Luna purred.

Solar was still sleep.

"Sooolar! I got your cream!" Luna called.

Solar's eyes opened wide and shot out of his bed.

Luna giggled at his excitement and let Socks give it to Solar. "There you go!" She purred.

Solar quickly began to eat the cream.

Luna threw the ball at Angie and he hit it back. Angie laughed as it flew past his head and knocked a vase.

Solar wanted to go over and play, but he didn't and he laid down.

Luna started walking back home with a silly grin on her face.

Luna slid inside. "Hey guys." She meowed. Socks laughed, seeing the ball of yarn. "Here ya go Solar, Ang wants you to have it."

Solar stood and pounced on the yarn, batting at it occasionally.

Solar continued for playing with it for a bit longer before getting tired of it after a while.

"Oh yeah he also gave you this." Luna set a little toy rabbit on Solar's bed. She padded to her own bed and laid down.

Solar walked up to the rabbit and batted at it a few times before pouncing on it a few times.

Socks smiled. "Solar, go to bed." Hde meowed. Luna lay asleep in her bed.

Sky padded over. "Solar." She said, staring down at him.

Solar looked up at her, ears back. "Yes mom?"

"Sleep. Unless you don't want to leave this house for a week." Sky said.

"But mom! I'm not tired!" He said.

Sky raised an eyebrow and looked at the digital clock thing on the shelf. "It's already eleven fifty, Solar." She said.

"Fine. Then you're staying in this room in the dark." Socks said as Sky padded out of the room. He jumped onto a shelf and flipped a switch down so the light went out.

"No please!" He begged. He was fine in the dark, but he hated sleeping in the darkness. It just really freaked him out.

Luna opened her eyes and looked around. "What's goin' on?" She yawned.

Solar ran next to his sister and curled up shivering. "I don't like the dark!"

Luna looked down at her brother and smiled. "You can sleep with me if it makes you feel less afraid." She offered.

When she told him this, his shivering almost stopped.

One of the twolegs opened the door. luna dashed out.

Solar was a bit slower and walked out.

"Good morning kids." Sock purred. "Me and your father decided we'd take you out to the forest as a treat." Sky said. "Really?!" Luna said excitedly.

"Yup! C'mon." Sky turned around and slipped out the door. Socks followed her, Luna trailing behind him.

Luna stared at the giant trees around her. "Whoa. This is where you were born mama?" She asked. "Mhm." Sky said.

"Cool!" Solar said impressed.

Sky disappeared behind a bush and came back carrying a fresh rabbit. "Here." She meowed, nudging it towards her kids. Luna's eyes widened and she poked the rabbit. "You guys EAT rabbits?!" She asked in disbelief.

Solar looked at the rabbit and took a hesitant bite. His eyes flew open and looked at his mother. "It's so good!"

Sky just smiled. Luna bit the rabbit then spat it out. "Gross!" She said, shaking her head. Socks contained laughter. Sky put a paw to her head. "Oh my god." She laughed.

"More for me!" Solar began taking huge bites out of the rabbit.

Sky smiled. "I'm going to assume you like fresh kill?" She asked.

"First, practice your hunter's crouch. Try to copy me." Sky crouched down and lowered her tail so it drifted above the ground just slightly. She stalked forward, her paws making no sound on the hard forest floor. She jumped and grabbed a mouse in her jaws and killed it.

Solar stared in amazement. He tried to copy her, but made too much noise.

Sky watched. "Step lightly and lift your tail a bit." She meowed. Luna crouched down and dropped her tail down slightly and stalking forward. "Your stalk is good, but your tail is too high." Sky said.

Solar lifted his tail a bit, but just couldn't step lightly.

"Solar, watch my paws." Sky got back into position stepped forward, lifting her paws and setting them back down gently. She made no sound.

Solar watched and tried again. He still made noise, but it was much quieter than before.

"Much better. Now try it on real prey." She said quietly, nodding at a mouse nibbling on blade of grass at the base of some roots.

Solar walked up to the mouse, making no noise this time and pounced and killed it.

Sky was about to start walking when she screeched, "RUN!" Luna was startled but smelled why her mother was alarmed. Dogs. She dashed off.

Solar was startled and began running.

Luna jumped onto a tree and sat on a branch, staring down. She heard barks, snarling, growling, snaps and was frightened. What if mom and dad can't beat the dogs? What if they catch Solar?! She thought about the dogs catching her little brother and shuddered.

Solar kept running as fast as he could.

One of the smaller dogs and followed Luna and was snapping at her waving tail. She yelped but was frozen to the branch. "Kid, move it!" A voice shouted at her from the other tree. She snapped to her senses and climbed higher where the dog couldn't reach her. A white she-cat with three black circles under her left eye and a torn ear landed beside her. She jumped down, attacking the dog. She dug her claws into it's back and bit down on it's ear.

Solar hid in a bush.

The she-cat managed to steer the dog away form the tree. She jumped off and some of the dogs fur was stuck in her claws. The dog ran away whimpering. "Tobias, check on the little one and make sure no dog followed him!" She yowled. The cat named Tobias nodded and jumped from his hiding spot and raced to Solar's hiding place. She turned to Luna and smiled. "I'm Chance." She meowed. "Luna. Thank you for chasing away the dog." Luna said. "Pleasure's mine, Luna." Chance responded and heard Tobias screeching in fury as he attacked a dog he had met on his way to check on Solar.

Solar froze in place and he was just scared.

Tobias sunk his teeth into the dog's ear and tugged up. The dog yelped and shook Tobias off before running off. Tobias looked at his bleeding side and shrugged. He looked over at Solar. "Hey kid, you alright?"

He didn't say a thing. He was frozen in shock and fear.

Tobias walked over to him and nudged him. "C'mon kid, gotta get moving." He meowed. Chance walked over to Sky and stared down at her. "Tobias!" She cried. He walked over and froze in shock. "Sky." He breathed. Socks looked over and stared down at Sky with wide eyes. "Sky!" He yowled. "Momma?" Luna whispered, creeping forward with scared eyes.

Sky coughed and looked at the cats surrounding her. "Chance. Tobias." She whispered and smiled. "C'mon sis, get up." Tobias urged. "Ok." She coughed again and got up with the help of Chance and Luna.

Luna looked at her mother warily and led her into the twoleg nest. Sky laid down in her bed and groaned. Chance looked at her scratches and cuts and went to find their twolegs.

Luna ran into the kitchen and jumped onto the shelves of the fridge, trying to get to the cream. Maybe that'll calm down Solar.

Solar was worried and panicking and all this other stuff. He just wanted his mother to be safe.

Luna walked back into the room, pushing a bowl of cream. "Solar."

Solar pushed the cream away.

"Solar just eat the stupid cream." Luna said. "You need to calm down. Mom's gonna be fine."

"I don't want the cream!" He shouted at Luna in her face.

Luna shrunk away and started backing away. "Fine." She said before turning and running out of the house. She turned a corner and came face to face with one of the dogs from earlier. It growled and attacked her with a snarl.

"Solar, where'd your sister go?" Socks asked worriedly, walking away from Sly who was sleeping.

Solar ignored him and followed his sister.

"Solar!" Socks shouted and went to follow him but Tobias was already on it.

Luna crouched in front of the dog, hissing. Her claws were covered in blood and so was her right ear. The dog dove at her but Luna jumped up at the last minute and landed on it's back. She bit down on it's ear just to be thrown off.

"Luna." Solar yelled when he saw her.

Luna got up and ignored her brother. She was limping on her front paw which was twisted. She bared her teeth at the dog and attacked it again. The dog snarled and threw off again. She smacked into a tree and fell to the ground.

"LUNA!" Solar launched himself at the dog in pure rage.

The dog growled and tried to shake off Solar. Luna opened her eyes a bit and saw a blurry outline of her brother. She got to her paws, her head spinning before just falling down again, pain shooting from her paw.

Solar didn't let go. He had his claws sunk into the dog's side and his teeth in it's neck and he refused to let go.

The dog snarled as Tobias attacked from the other side, biting down on its scruff and digging his claws into it's back,

"Solar, go check on your sister!" Tobias shouted, trying to hold onto the dog.

"I don't think I can let go!" He shouted. "Please make sure she's OK." He told him.

"Ok." Tobias jumped off of the dog and landed beside Luna. He nudged her and she groaned. At least she's still alive. He looked at her ripped ear and then at her twisted paw. The tom nudged her onto his back and looked at Solar. "I'm gonna take her back!" Tobias shouted.

"I'll be there as soon as I can." He said.

Tobias nodded and ran to the house. Luna let out another groan, her vision blurring more. The dog snarled and tried to throw Solar off a final time.

Solar tried to hang on but couldn't and fell to the ground but quickly got to his feet.

The dog was whimpering softly and he ran off.

Back at the house Chance was treating Luna's ear and paw. "You'll live." She purred. Luna smiled and closed her eyes.

Tobias smiled. "You fought well for someone as young as yourself." He said as he saw Solar.

Solar nodded and walked over to his sister and put his head on her side.

Luna looked at her brother and smiled. "Heeeey Solar." She said, poking him.

Solar groaned, but woke up and looked at his sister.

Luna licked his ear. "How ya feeling?"

"Fine, considering I'm now half deaf with a twisted paw." Luna said.

He licked his sister. "I'm not going anywhere until you're ok." He promised.

Luna smiled. "Not like you can really go anywhere else since this is your house. Other than Angie's place. But that's besides the point." She shook her head. "Hey, can I come in!" A voice shouted from outside. Socks walked over to the cat flap and moved it aside and Angie dashed in. "What d'ya know." Luna said, looking at the tom.

Solar smiled at Luna, then at Angie.

"Luna! I heard about the dog, are you ok? What happened to your ear?!" Angie asked a thousand questions and Luna just closed her eyes and laid back down. Her torn ear flicked as she drifted away.

Angie smiled and walked out of the house. Luna opened her eyes. "Is he gone?" She asked, sitting up.
