stalking through the ancient forest, kettu pricked his ears as though searching for something. calling out, he chirped with a high pitched sound, a noise that only his mate would be able to hear. he searched for his lover, tails swaying behind him. snow-white fur rustled as his mood gradually lowered the longer he was kept without a response. whining, kettu jumped up and latched onto a tree branch, eyes narrowed and looking through the trees with the precision only an animal could hold. his nose twitched before he morphed into his human form, fidgeting as he grew agitated with each heartbeat that passed. growling softly, a sign of concern, kettu leaped back down and transferred back into his fox body, tails lashing and claws flexed. ears flattening, he moved forwards, both cautious and careless as he trotted through the forest, head held low as he watched for hunters and his mate.

Rai hears the call and begins to look around before answering with a soft lion like roar, he quickly begins to walk forward towards the call, his head held up high and proud and his tail waved softly as he walks eventually finding Kettu, he lets out a soft rough purr a sound he only made around Kettu, he speaks softly in the language of beasts in this case a low soft purr, “ My love lost me again?” He asks in a dark husky voice however it held a hint of playfulness as he begins to walk forward towards Kettu, he nuzzles his own nose with Kettu sending a soft little shock which was kinda warm a bit. “ forgive me for worrying you my dear. I just thought you would like some food before you woke up?” He Says with a soft smile.

Rai hears the call and begins to look around before answering with a soft lion like roar, he quickly begins to walk forward towards the call, his head held up high and proud and his tail waved softly as he walks eventually finding Kettu, he lets out a soft rough purr a sound he only made around Kettu, he speaks softly in the language of beasts in this case a low soft purr, “ My love lost me again?” He asks in a dark husky voice however it held a hint of playfulness as he begins to walk forward towards Kettu, he nuzzles his own nose with Kettu sending a soft little shock which was kinda warm a bit. “ forgive me for worrying you my dear. kettu's tails flicked happily as a yip emitted from him, a sound of happiness and relief as his mate appeared. he chirped again, ears perking. the kitsune nuzzled his mate, though the other was much larger than him due to a difference in species. kettu spoke in the language of a fox, but all monsters could understand him. "don't worry me like that!" he frowned and stomped a paw, eyes glowing with annoyance. "you know how much i hate to wake up alone," he yelped, tails lashing agitatedly. his fur fluffed up, waving as though it were made of flames.

kettu's tails flicked happily as a yip emitted from him, a sound of happiness and relief as his mate appeared. he chirped again, ears perking. the kitsune nuzzled his mate, though the other was much larger than him due to a difference in species. kettu spoke in the language of a fox, but all monsters could understand him. "don't worry me like that!" he frowned and stomped a paw, eyes glowing with annoyance. I just wanted to hunt a bit and I thought I would have made it before you woke up.” He leans forward nuzzling his nose with his a kiss among monsters. “ forgive me?” He asks with those charming pleading eyes. kettu huffed and pouted, but he gave in and nodded anyways. "i forgive you." he looked away for a moment before leaping up on a tree, twisting so his tails wrapped against a branch and he fell just enough to be hanging upsidedown. a ruby gaze brightened with sudden happiness, nose twitching and paws swiping at thin air. his lips parted as though he were smiling, but his muzzle prohibited much movement. kettu yipped and looked at rai with adoration shining in his eyes. "i love you," he barked, then chittered as though giggling.

They really had no idea what they were trying to do to either one of them, or both.

He huffs to Kettu as he suddenly begins to run after it and almost immediately it begins to run as well but he was quicker. He jumps onto it bringing it down by its neck and using electricity he kills it quicker. After breaking its neck with a loud creak, he stands over it and roars loudly a thing his species does to keep others away. He eventually stops and begins to carry the kill to his mate dropping it in front of him. “ need more?” He asks playfully

"that is enough, love." his tails flicked happily, all curling around each other to look as if they were all one big tail. ears heightening, he raised his head and sniffed. a stone seemed to drop in his stomach as an unfamiliar scent drifted towards him. the kitsune looked around, eyes narrowed as he morphed into his fox form. kettu growled with a low warning to whatever, or whoever, was out there watching them. with a snort, he turned to rai and sent a silent signal for him to stay quiet, pick up the food, and run as quickly as possible.

it wasn't safe there.

Vurec crouched lower as the kitsune morphed back into fox form, then darted off. Their tongue hung out of their jaws as they turned to glance at the zigroe, calculating his next move. After a moment they darted after the kitsune, sticking to the shadows. Expect, every few strides, the shadows would be too thing, and the shuck was aware that if he did look over, he would be able to spot the large canine. However, they didn't care. They could easily take on the kitsune and his mate if they needed to. They just wanted one of the kitsune's many tails, since they had made a habit if collecting those.

His feet slam against the ground as he ran. He let out a yip of delight, a human appearance but he wasn't one. Oh, no he wasn't. Rowan was a runaway from his home, a Werefox. They weren't so rare or anything so, he wasn't hunted much. If he was being hunted he could easily freeze them. The wind whip at his blue hair, ice trailing after him. Each time his foot touch the ground it froze, spread, then stop. Slowly melting after a minute or two. Rowan plunged into the icy cold water. "Ha!" He soon emerge up top. Swimming to the shore. He couldn't stay there in long before it froze. He still considered it a curse. It turned him into a monster. Ah, he dreamed to be normal. Being a normal Werefox was even fine by him since he didn't fairly like it but at least it would be easier. His fox side let out a snort, it rarely was responsive so Rowan ignored it. Like he always did. Water drip down his clothes as he sat on the ground, his knees to his chest as he gazed out in the distance. Rowan looked human, he could easily past for one but he couldn't keep it up for forever. Sadly.
