Look, O Goddess of the moon!
Look up at the constellations you have formed.
Look and remember the friendship you lost.

Remember the one who stole your heart,
Above all else with his hunt and strength,
Talking together by a glowing flame.

Remember the deer you took down together,
Pack hunting beside pack,
His wonderful laugh at your offer.

Remember his acceptance,
His eyes gleaming under the light of your moon,
Remember the many days of bliss.

Remember your brother,
Your dear brother the sun,
Who came across you with anger, not joy.

He who deceived you,
Who made you destroy your true friend,
Demolished him from jealousy.

Find that creature that chased him,
Chased him, Orion, with malice and malevolence,
Find and kill it, let the life-blood of the monstrosity spill before you.

Take it by the barbed tail,
Take it and fling it up into the atramentous sky,
Place it in the stars behind him, Orion, him who you loved.

Reminisce taking Orin to Asclepius,
The healer of all,
He who could raise the dead.

And he who was powerless to bring back your dear hunter,
All for the jealousy of the sun,
The one who had lit up your hunt in the day.

Look at the stars and think on each one,
How each of them came to be,
Which hero or monster formed which constellation.

Remember the oath you didn't break,
The one your brother accused you of betraying,
The one he had not first consulted you of.

He jumped to conclusions as the sun jumps the sky,
Destroying an innocent life,
And your happiness along with it.

Remember the tear stains on your cheeks,
The liquid rolling down your silver glowing skin,
Sadness, despair, and heartbreak packed into tiny, glistening drops.

Look at the stars, O goddess of the moon!
Look at the stars, tears in your beautiful eyes,
Look and remember.

Basically, this is a poem about the version of the Artemis and Orion story I read. So I wrote a poem. Tell me what you think, and if I should write more!
