welcome to danganronpa.
this is a roleplay based off of a game series by the name of danganronpa, a visual novel series which revolves around sixteen teenagers with special talents.
each one of these teens is incredibly proficient in one thing, whether it's art, writing, a specific kind of sport-- proficient enough that they've risen to the tops of the ranks at such a young age, and scouted out by a revolutionary new school which teaches gifted students like them. hope's peak academy-- a school which provides the most prestigious teaching in all of the world.
but this school is not what it seems.
the sixteen students of the newest class have found themselves locked inside, and greeted with a sinister message given by an odd-looking robot by the name of monokuma- that in order to escape, they must kill another one of their new classmates- and get away with murder, as well.
if they are found out by their fellow classmates about their crimes, they'll be executed as well.
will they band together, or will one of these teenagers give into despair?

rules
- yes, this is a killing game roleplay, and there's going to be killing-- but keep your violence to a minimum! if you wouldn't describe it in the main roleplay, don't write it here.
- don't roleplay canon dr characters! this is for ocs only.
- i'll be writing monokuma, for ease of plot.
- if you'd like your character killed / to kill someone, please pm me about it! otherwise, a random generator will be used, so please don't be mad if your character is chosen. i'd recommend making two characters just in case one dies!
- if you know who a murderer is, don't spoil it! let the characters find the murderers through clues and evidence i'll provide.
