Leafpaw bounded past her and smiled at Batkit, Windkit and Snowkit. "Aww! Snowkit's so cute!" She purred. Snowkit stared at Leafpaw before turning and looking at her mother and father.
Why can't I hear any of them? She thought.

Darkfang didn't take any hurry to get to the nurcery and patted in and looked down at Batkit.

Heartsong smiled at Darkfang. Windkit looked up at his aunt and smiled at her. "Hi! I'm Windkit, that's my deaf sister Snowk-" "Windkit!' Heartsong hissed, flicking his ear angrily. "And my brother Batkit."

Darkfang smiled at Windkit. " Well hello, all of you." She purred

Heartsong frowned slightly. "But Windkit's right... Snowkit can't hear anything." She meowed, looking at her daughter who was sniffing around the nursery. She sensed her mother's sympathy and felt irritated. I'm as healthy as my brothers! She thought, and she thought she had said it.

Snowkit looked around and made sure nobody was watching her before slipping out of the den. She followed her nose and found herself in Shadowstar's den. It smells like blood in here... She thought.

Snowkit looked at her father. "I just wanted to explore." She mumbled, sightless eyes looking at the ground.

Shadowstar came from the corner of her den. " Who's this Bravecloud?" Shadowstar asked

Snowkit turned her sightless eyes towards Shadowstar. Wind kit race four of the nursery, chasing a little ball of moss Leafpas had flicked. He looked T Shadosstar. "That's mind and Batkit's blind sister Snowkit." He mewed before chasing the ball again. Snowkit grumbled under her breath.

Bravecloud put her down. "Just wait untill you are a bit older."

"Hmm." She thought and smiled

"Where's mom?" Bravecloud asked.

Batkit made his way to Darkfang and pawed at her paw.

Darkfang smiled and sat down.

Shadowstar tilted her head slightly. " Your mom?"

Windkit walked over to his sister and led her back to the nursery. I'm not dumb, I know where the nursery is. She thought.

"Meadowpaw!" Cloverpaw shouted, setting down the kit.

Heartsong looked at Snowkit and licked her in between the ears.

Goldgrass, Crowfeather, Feathertear, Appleheart, Stripepelt, Silverpaw, Dustpaw, Graypaw.. Cloverpaw and Orchidpaw are former bloodclanians..)

"I found her while I was hunting, Meadowpaw, i couldn't just leave her there!" Cloverpaw hissed.

" i know i know... " she mewed she stared at it " im not a queen... i cant feed it but i have always wanted kits " she said

Cloverpaw picked up the kit and padded towards the nursery where Heartsong was curled around Windkit, Batkit and blind Snowkit. "Hey, Heartsong? Can you er, take care of one more?" He asked.

meadopaw stared at her mate bringing the kit away she felt a pang in her heart even though it wasnt hers she still would want a kit no matter what she sighed " cloverpaw! ' she called then walked after him " can we talk a little later " she asked

Cloverpaw nodded, setting down the kit beside the other kits.

" have you ever thought about the future? " she asked " where do you see yourself in the future ": she asked

"Hmm.." Cloverpaw smiled. "I imagine myself becoming deputy with the prettiest she-cat beside me." He meowed.

she smiled " hmm snowpaw? " she asked laughing " do you ever see yourself as leader " she asked " i see myself as deputy with you as leader but oneday i will be a queen hopefully i have always wanted kits " she commented

"Snowpaw is no where near as pretty as you, Meadowpaw." Cloverpaw purred. "And sure, I imagine myself as leader."

Snowkit huffed and made sure her mother was asleep before getting up and sniffing her way out of the nursery. Windkit scrambled to his paws and walked after her.

"And where are you going?" Bravecloud asked them blocking the exit.

Snowkit's ear's twitched at her father's voice. "I heard a voice out there." She meowed, pointing her nose at Tidedrop who was smiling brightly.

"Well I'll check it out." Bravecloud said. "You can't leave the den until you're older."

Snowkit stuck her tongue out and padded back to her mother.

Oakvine, Gingercloud and Shadeeye padded after Tidedrop. "We said no racing." They growled.

"Well all of you better get faster." Thunderclaw said.

the kittened mewled looking for confort it mewled loudly it was smaller nd its eyes werent yet open but it kept mewing

Snowkit growled. "Cna you shut that thing up?!" She yowled, burying her face in her paws.

Shadeeye rolled her eyes at her brother. "We're all older than you guys, don't judge us." She said. Oakvine chuckled. "All of you are such kits." He laughed. "Hey!" Gingercloud whined, shoving her brother.

Windkit pointed at the ginger kit with his paw. "Cloverpaw dropped it off and it won't shut up." He meowed. "If you're talking about the voice I heard, she sounded female, her voice sounded like water flowing down a stream, and she was with four others." Snowkit mewed.
