Roleplay Sample: Willowbreeze was irritated beyond words when she had to go on a hunting patrol with this useless cat. Helping as much as she could, she tried to pretend not to catch that rabbit. Instead, when he was doping around, she ran it straight into his paws. Being irritated by being put with "useless as a mouse" over there, she was even more irritated on watching him brag about is wonderful rabbit. She just wanted to yell at him, "I drove it straight into your paws, you mouse brain!" But if she did, it would just get her in trouble.

Padding through the camp entrance, Willowbreeze didn't even look over her shoulder. She hoped he knew what to do. Take the prey. Put it on the pile. As she carefully placed hers on the pile, she heard mousebrain garble something. She bit back laughter as mousebrain forgot to put the prey down. Hearing him say clear words, it was hard not to congratulate him. But, after processing what mousebrain had said, she tried her beet not to say, "No! You're a mousebrain and I did NOT enjoy today!" But, instead, Willowbreeze said something nice. "I enjoyed it too. It was nice helping someone out for a change. I wouldn't mind if you came with me again." She cheerfully answered. I've been set up, haven't I? She thought, falling apart on the inside.

Ripplestar woke up in her nest and stared at the roof of her den for a few moments. She didn't feel like moving, nor did she want to be awake. She rather sleep all day, but being a leader of a clan was important. You never knew when the clan could get attacked, be destroyed by two legs, or a natural disaster come and you would always have to be prepared for it. After a few moments of laying still, she stretched and yawned, her green eyes shining in the light that filtered into her den through the opening.

Padding out of the den, the fiery looking she-cat watched around as duties were being carried through the clan, and Slickfur, the deputy, was giving out orders and making sure cats went on patrols. Joining Slickfur and sitting by her, she said," I'll join a patrol." Last time she had ever been on a patrol was when she was a warrior, and that was ages ago. At least it was for her. Ripplestar once thought of joining a patrol in the past, but she was busy with other things at the time, especially since she had to receive her nine lives back at the beginning of her leadership. "It'll be god exercise for me," Ripplestar said, a smile on her face. And it wouldn't kill me to go outside for once She thought to herself.

Snowcloud woke up, yawning. She stretched then looked at her kits. Icekit was throwing a mossball at Moonkit, though her sister wasn't interested. She was looking at some berry, memorizing it. "What are you doing?" Icekit asked Moonkit. "I'm looking at this herb. The medicine cat said it is called juniper berry." She mewed calmly, not looking up. "I might need to know in case of an emergency." Moonkit added quietly. "Alright." Icekit mewed, then muttered under her breath, "Weirdo." Moonkit heard it, and muttered under her breath, "Mouse dung." Icekit played mossball by herself and Moonkit continued to look at the berry. Snowcloud stood up. "Have you had anything to eat?" She asked her kits. "Yep!" Icekit mewed happily. "Yeah." Moonkit mewed quietly. Snowcloud nodded, then squeezed out of the nursery and loaded to the fresh kill pile.

The brown and white tabby had never been on a patrol, nor had she searched for strange cats, so this would be new for her. "Can I come?" She asked, looking up at Slickfur then at Ripplestar. Her mentor had only ever taken her hunting, and it got boring when she would just catch the same thing over and over again.
Ripplestar thought for a moment then shrugged. "It's up to you, Slickfur," She meowed and looked down at Leafpaw for a second before looking away.(also leafpaw needs a mentor)

Devouring it quickly, she hopped right back into her den. Immediately she noticed that her marigold leaves were almost gone, and were withered. Hopping right back out, she called to Leafpaw. "Leafpaw! If you're going to to out on patrol, please pick some of these for me!" She bounded over to he'd, and showed her the marigolds.
