Bumblepaw heaved with great effort trying to steady his breathing. Somehow he'd been purged despite being from a wealthy family in District 8. His stomach churned with fear. A trembling storm rising higher and higher into his throat until he had to hold his breath to keep from puking everywhere. He looked around at his competitors. To his right, an apprentice close to his age, to his left a warrior. The grey-brown apprentice shifted uncomfortably. He knew battle tactics well, but how to do them... was an entirely different deal. Much less against a well trained seasoned warrior. He scanned the cornucopia and around his own paws. There was nothing good within a few tail-lengths of here. It wouldn't be smart to enter the bloodbath that was the cornucopia. The apprentice decided his best bet would be to run. And thats what he did. The countdown thundered in Bumblepaw's ears. He had never expected it to be so loud. It pounded through his veins and into the ground making him vibrate, like he was struck with lighting. Suddenly bodies started moving and Bumblepaw was caught off guard. In the distant he saw a dense forest which would no doubt be his best choice of safety. His paws started to move him slowly at first but suddenly the cat had no control on his speed. Only adrenaline and fear fueled him. Away from the cornucopia he ran.

sparrow and duskheart dropped everything they where holding, and looked at rosebelly and cipherpaw. sparrow waited for someone to say something while duskheart was figuring some things out.

I love how on the first day Frosted is like; "yeahhh don't kill me please." And the yhe next day she's like, "agh screw my life"

Flameleaf looked at the night sky. Stars shone brightly in the darkness. She flicked her tail tail and sighed. She rested her head on her paws as she lay under the warm glow of the moon. The she-cat began to think about what would happen tomorrow. Would she live or would she die? She didn't know.

Blacktail's spirit floated a few inches of the ground. He had been slaughtered on the very first day.
He pulled back his lips in a snarl and lashed his thin black tail. The dead cat softly landed on the ground and stood there, his bright yellow gaze sweeping over the cats who were still alive.

Cipherpaw sat down beside Sparrow, grinning slightly. "So, what's the plan?" He looked to the others he had grouped up with, glad they decided to share what they got from the Cornucopia rather than him being alone.

Bumblepaw diverts Duskheart 's attention and runs away.

Pewterbranch stabs Fallensoul while her back is turned.

Bingo defeats Pathfinder in a fight, but spares his life.

Driftpaw explores the arena.

Comfreypaw receives an explosive from an unknown sponsor.

Flameleaf and Rosebelly threaten a double suicide. It fails and they die.

Stoneheart falls into a frozen lake and drowns.

Branchtail and Raven split up to search for resources.

Frostedbelly decapitates Whitestep with a sword.

Splitstrike , Cloudywind , and Crookedpaw get into a fight. Crookedpaw triumphantly kills them both.

Dragontail sighed as he looked out the squrrell hole. He had decided to make this his shelter. He didn't want to do this, but he had to. The tom thought of his mate and kits. He wondered how they were. He poked his head out of the hole and looked around. He was safe. For now. He grabbed a long strip of bark with his claws and drug it back into his little hidey-hole. He positioned the bark so it looked like the hole never existed. He turned, somewhat cramped, and ate a few berries he had managed to gather. Dragontail looked at the slingshot he made. Was it useful? He sure hoped so. He looked up. The tree he was hiding in had a hole in the top as well. He stared at the tiny patch of sky, sighing in grief as his friend, Wildmoon, flashed across the sky. He covered his ears and lay down, closing his eyes. He fell asleep to the sound of cannons.

A weary sigh emanated from Fleeingfoot's maw, her eyes beginning to sting from watching for so long. Her opponents' faces flashed in the sky, a few cannon shots were heard, and then silence. Her family at home would be cheering her on, happy that she was still alive yet sad she was involved in this mess. The she-cat finally fell asleep, the sounds of the arena fading into visions of home.

Driftpaw was on the hunt.
The explosive he had recieved was huge. It was so big, in fact, he'd already planted it by his supplies and shelter. Which meant while all of his stuff at his makeshift camp was safe, he could go and fetch water, and go through all of the necessities before falling asleep. He gathered his water, ate some prey from his store, and then set out to hunt down other tributes.
