the kits are born into [shatteredwinds]' clan, windclan, and she asks her best friend, [tom 2], if he could pose as the father. he agrees, but some cats are still suspicious of [kit 1] and [kit 3]'s bulky and muscular builds. soon enough, all of them become sick in leaf-bare. the windclan territory is too bare for them, and they are slowly becoming sicker and sicker.

[shatteredwinds] reluctantly gives them to [fogwing]. [fogwing] gives them to [she-cat 2] and says that he found them outside of camp, sick. she takes them in as her own and the two are happy and begin falling in love with each other.

[shatteredwinds] snaps. she gets aggressive and [tom 3] cannot calm her down this time. then [kit 1], [kit 2] and [kit 3] become warriors. she is more content and proud of her "motherless" kits.
