Evie sat in her bed reading a book, tomorrow would be Choosing Day, a day full anxiety for her and all those in the ward in Redmont.
John stood in the small meadow surrounding his cabin, in one fluid motion he reached back into his quiver pulling the black shafted-arrow out, he then hooked it onto the string of his powerful longbow and drew it back swiftly and with a sooth release the deadly weapon sped away from him, sinking into his target with a satisfying thud.

Thomas stood up abruptly, the anxiety of Choosing Day putting him on edge, he then walked swiftly over to the girls' dorm and knocked on the door, he and Evie had been wardmates for nearly their entire childhood and thought of each other as brother and sister. He was sure she'd be able to console his nervous antics.
Faith stood in her grand kitchen in the castle, giving out orders to hewr staff in rapid fire, she was preparing the last dinner the wardmates would have together and was determined to make it special.

Portia groaned silently and rose from her bed, groping for a strip of rawhide and the familiar curve of her bow. She righted herself so she was sitting on the bed, then pulled her ginger hair back at the nape of her neck. She hated showing her face in public, as it was usually regarded as ugly or too harsh for a woman, but today it was required. The bed creaked as Prtia stood and splashed some cold water on her face. She dressed quickly, fastening the silver oak pin to her cloak and placing her bow and quiver on her back. On her thigh went her dagger, and she was ready. She was ready to possibly receive an apprentice today. (Open for a Ranger apprentice!)

Aldwyn strode out of her room happily, bouncing on her heels. I hope my request gets granted. How great would it be to be a courier. Oooooh, or maybe a ranger? The girl impatiently scanned the area. She wanted to talk to someone. Her bushy hair stuck out in many different ways, but Aldwyn didn't care. She had worn her best clothes and prepared for this day. She was even wearing the short sword her father gifted her hidden in the folds of her dress. Easy to grab if needed. Quickly becoming imaptient, Aldwyn strode over near a group of people around her age and said "Hey, anyone here requesting to be a Courier or Ranger? I can't really decide." (Open!)

Thomas winced in pain before cuffing her over the ear, "I'll bare it in mind." He assured her before coming in to sit down. "What are you two choosing?" He inquired, his messy brown hair flopping in his face.

Evie looked up at him, "Courier is what I'll be requesting." She said, "I don't know what chances I have though. It's a tough trade."

John retrieved his arrows, all of them bristling out of the target like a disturbed porcupine. He then walked into his cabin, unstrung his bow, and began to prepare dinner for himself.

Evie turned, "Actually yeah, I'm trying to become a Courier." She said, thoughts streaming through her mind as she assessed the stranger, "I'm Evie." She added, after some thought.

Evie woke up, immediately pulling on her tights, then putting a long, flowing tunic on over it, she then braided er hair to keep it out of her face and headed down to the ceremonial room.

Jacob sighed, stretching as he got ready for the ceremony. He combed his soft hair and looked in his mirror, a fine luxury, he knew, as mirrors were highly expensive.

George headed to the ceremony, he'd been awake for hours already as usual, and was ready to be surrounded by the wealthy people he knew would be much more intent on the ceremony than his pick-pocketing excursions.

John stood in the courtroom, he always tried to be the first person their, to be less of a distraction.

Faith hurriedly scrubbed the dried flour off her skin, she had been baking early in the day and lost track of time, giving her less time to be getting ready.

Geoffrey glanced down at his immaculate clothes, making sure they were straight, as he always did.

Thomas' eyes snapped open as he realized how little time he had to get ready, he abruptly got dressed, nearly running out the door without putting his shirt on.
(Oh my gosh I have so many charries.)

He pulled his shirt a bit “ oh dear lord protect me...” Naruto was smiling and pushing Sasuke a bit. “ a cutie huh? But it seems like he got some muscle too. Go talk to him!” Sasuke growls “ no besides he’s a young one! “

Sasuke was already in the ceremonial room and was awaiting for the young ones by him was Naruto who seemed very excited about this and was talking with Sasuke who gave a soft rare smile and just simply nodded until he noticed Thomas, without a shirt. He pulled his shirt a bit “ oh dear lord protect me...” Naruto was smiling and pushing Sasuke a bit. “ a cutie huh? But it seems like he got some muscle too. Go talk to him!” Sasuke growls “ no besides he’s a young one! “
Thomas suddenly realized the room was draftier than normal, he then noticed his shirt, still in his hands. He then blushed hurriedly putting his shirt on, though in his hurry, misses the two top buttons.

John strode swiftly over to the two, covering a great amount of distance despite his small height. "Have your eyes set on anyone?" He asked, he had no intention of fighting over an apprentice, he knew Sasuke was a good ranger and would train any who he chose well.
(Ooh if you make Sasuke a bad guy can you have him affect Thomas?)
Jacob reached his throne, a rather unimpressive site, but he would have had it no other way, he couldn't stand Barons who sat above everyone on golden bejeweled thrones.

Evie came in behind Thomas, swiftly walking over to him. "It's about to start? Are you ready?" She asked. "As I'll ever be." He muttered in reply.

Geoffrey and Faith stood together close to the Baron, all the Craftmasters were rather well acquainted.

He then announced each of them in turn, "Sasuke the Ranger, Lady Elizabeth the Courier, Battlemaster Daniel, Scribemaster Geoffrey, Portia the Ranger, Sir Naruto, and Kitchenmaster Faith." He finished, gesturing to each of them in turn. "Now, wardmates, line up." He ordered, his strong voice resonating throughout the room.

Jacob cleared his throat as the towncrier called everyone to attention, "Let all the craftmasters gather together." He then announced each of them in turn, "Sasuke the Ranger, Lady Elizabeth the Courier, Battlemaster Daniel, Scribemaster Geoffrey, Portia the Ranger, Sir Naruto, and Kitchenmaster Faith." He finished, gesturing to each of them in turn. "Now, wardmates, line up." He ordered, his strong voice resonating throughout the room.

Evie, Thomas, and Alex all lined up with the others.

Jacob looked at the rangers, "Sasuke, Portia, John? Do any of you have use for this young man?" He asked, looking at the three rangers.

John saw the flicker of excitement, then the containment of it. He nodded in approval, the ability to hide emotions was important in a ranger.

Jacob drummed his fingers impatiently, "Next." He said. Milky Way
(We can roleplay the apprentices and them together and do like a flashback for Milky Way if y'all want.)

He indicated to a small room, "That's yours, there's a small cupboard to put your clothes in. I'll make dinner then we can head to Younger Bob's." He said, walking over to the small stove he had in his simplistic kitchen, he lit a fire and started cooking.
(I am back!!!) She walked into the small room and stated putting her belongings away. It didn't take long, not hvaing much, so she ended up back in the kitchen within 10 minutes. She copied John's movements and the horse moved forward. "Never rode before but I'm a fast learner," she responded. She kept her hands light on the reins and sat upright in the seat. She wasn't sure if this was right but she had to try.

"It's rather easy." He said, "I'll teach you the more complicated signals later, press with both of your knees to make him gallop." John then leaned forward in the saddle and Chestnut immediately sped up to a gallop, nowhere near full speed, but at a good pace.

Jack copied John and the pack horse started moving faster. The horse whinnied in frustration. He couldn't keep up with the Ranger horse. "Don't push yourself bud," she murmured in the horses ear. She eased him into a faster gallop, still behind the Ranger horse.

Rapido! She quicked her sprint and then the horse stopped. She skid to a stop in the driveway, in front of Chestnut. "What's with the Spanish?" She laughed.

Rolling as he hit the ground, he fired back at the now standing crossbow archer. He felt momentary satisfaction as the arrow buried itself in the other man's chest. Rolling as he hit the ground, he fired back at the now standing crossbow archer. He felt momentary satisfaction as the arrow buried itself in the other man's chest. He then realized that Genovesans never work alone, "Duck!" He yelled, slapping Frostbite's flank so the horse would lurch forward, delivering thegirl from harm. In one motion he retrieved another arrow, pulling back and sending another arrow at the archers, although this one was smart enough to fall flat after seeing his companion taken down so easily.

She whispered the word to her horse, getting in the habit, and mounted him. She urged him forward and he cantered toward the cabin. She saw a shape move around the cabin and stopped Frostbite. "What was that?" She whispered. She gripped the large knife she still had in her hand.

Jackelyn jumped off of Frostbite and calmly looked for an opening. As the attackers side was exposed she took the long knife and stabbed him, but unfortunately it wasn't a killing would and he had cut across Jack's stomach. She held back a scream but pain was apparent in her eyes. She grimaced and went for another blow. Still not a killing blow, he sliced the other direction. It cut her stomach again, left the skin, then hit again, creating a small cut on her face. Fury, emanated from her being but she could feel her muscles stiffening. (Poison?)

Even he winced as he heard the sickening crack that signaled he had broken the other man's nose, he then swept the man's legs out from under him, he pulled his throwing knife and held it at the man's throat.

She put her bowl in the sink and went to her room. She waved a sign of good night to John and collapsed on her bed. She observed her stomach wound and noticed it was starting to heal already. "That's fast..." she muttered under breath. After about 5 minutes, she passed out.

David smirked, struggling to hide the laugh he wanted to let loose. To distract himself, he glanced at her weapons(Are they with her?) "Nice bow." He said, interest making his voice deeper, "Where'd you get it? What wood is it made out of?" He asked. His dark hair falling in his face as he admired her appearance, although he tried very hard not to make it obvious. He was also well muscled, a result of living by himself, and the constant struggle he had to find food, which also made him a little skinny, but if given a proper meal regularly, he would fill out nicely.
