Fauna sat on her couch, holding an ice pack over her bruise on her stomach. She and Sakura were still very big enemies, and she was terrified of her. She sighed and curled up in her blankets.

Fauna's ears pricked and she stood up, setting the ice pack down and grabbing the doorknob. She opened the door to see Sasuke. A smile and a soft blush appearing on her face. "Hey, Sasuke! You wanna come in?" She saw the gift, but decided to ask him about it later.

Sasuke jumps hearing her voice and blushes madly as he just holds out the gift immediately " for you...I didn't know If you like stuffed toys so I got you a stuffed wolf " he says in a low shy voice though it was husky and a bit deep as he looks away blushing madly as he waits for her to take the gift " also if you want me to come in I ...don't mind "

Fauna smiled softly, holding the plush against her chest. "I love it. It's adoravle... just like you.." She gently held his hand and pulled him inside, kissing his cheek. "I have another TV in my bedroom, if you'd rather go in there. The bed is bigger and the TV is too." She blushed softly and held the plush tightly.

Sasuke blushes madly as fauna kissed his cheek and nods slowly " ... okay as long as you don't mind me " he says holding her hand tightly and his tail was wagging fast in excitement as he follows her " ....and I'm not the cute one you are " he says trying to sound manly in a way and almost did because of his husky voice but failed because of his blushing face

Fauna blushed and grabbed her blanket, getting onto her bed and looking at Sasuke. "I think you are adorable and very handsome." She looked at him and smiled, her ears twitching. "Very, very handsome." She patted the spot next to her, cuddling with her plush.

Fauna blushed madly and she curled up next to him, trying to ignore the pain from the bruise on her stomach. She bit her lip and stayed warm with him under the covers, glancing at him every few minutes just to see his face.

Fauna blushed, facing him. She gently took his face in her hand and kissed him on the lips for a few solid seconds before slowly pulling away and holding him close. She rested her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes.

Sakura laughs softly " now I kinda wanna do that " she says as she stands up and grabs ferns hand and kisses it " do you like it when I look like this ?" Winter sighs softly " and I spent all week making that no worries " he smiles at fauna " I have pictures of him in other dresses do you want them ?"

Fauna smiled softly and held his hand, standing close to him. As she was walking, a man was following far behind, looking down at his phone. Every so often he would glance up at her, then look back down at his phone. Fauna walked into the grocery story and looked around. The man leaned against the wall outside.

Sasuke was busy following and watching her so he didn't notice the man as he follows her " so what are you planning to get ?" He asks as he looks around

"Just food." She looked around and let go of Sasuke's hand. She handed him the list. "Here. I have to go and do something outside real quick." She smile and walked outside. The man looked up and quietly followed her as she walked down the street. She was heading to the toy store to buy Sasuke a plush deer. The man slowly got closer. Fauna glanced behind her and quickened her pace, getting a bad feeling. She regretted wearing a crop top and shorts this day for some reason. As she entered the store, she took the deer plush and asked for it to be wrapped. The cashier smiled kindly and put it in a gift box, then set a ribbon on top. Fauna smiled back and moved to the back of the store, where she pulled her phone out and called Sasuke. The man was still outside. When she caught him looking at her, he quickly ducked his head and looked on his phone.

Sasuke answers " I got the food are you outside? " he asks as he begins to walk looking around for her " where are you love im getting kinda lonely "

Fauna was shaking in fear, and she looked back out the window. "Sasuke, there's a man who's following me and he won't stop..." She whimpered. "I'm in the toy store down the block. Please hurry, he's looking at me right now..." She bit her lip and then hung up.

Sasuke eyes widen as he nods " I'll be there " he says as she hangs up his eyes glowed madly as he begins to run towards the toy store

The main sighed and put his phone away, stuffing his hands into his pockets and staring up at the sky before glancing in through the window at the terrified Fauna.

He glanced in and saw Sasuke, and his eyes narrowed slightly.

Kitty purred as she noticed Alex and transformed into her cat form. She stood on her paws and hopped onto the boy's head as he passed by the branch. "Hi Alex!" Kitty smiled as she sat on his head, her tail and ears moving around with joy.

Alright) Kate sat on her porch step with a dazed ,yet happy look in her eyes . her sigh was happy as she leaned against the wooden support that held the roof over the porch and looked beside her

Sam sat next to her, his ears twitching. He glanced at Kate, then smiled happily. Wrapping his arm around her shoulders, he held her close and stared up at the clouds.

Kate smiled more and opened her mouth to speak, her voice soft and her words flowing out smoothly . " you know Sam, I was thinking . wouldn't it be nice if we got our own little apartment , just to us ? I mean, we are in our last year of highschool and I would say things are pretty serious between us . don't you agree? Plius, the feeling of waking up next to you everyday is the best feeling in the world"

Sam smiled softly. "Yeah, I really love that idea. Our own little apartment. I mean, there's still college to think about, but still... being with you all day, everyday, sends me to cloud nine." He purred, pulling her a little bit closer.

Kate kissed Sams forehead before resting her head against his chest . "sounds puuurfect *" she rumbled. Her tail curled around the couple as she tilted her head so she could see the sky

Sam smiled a little more, closing his eyes and thinking about the mere future. "I love you, Kate.." he whispered, staying warm in the sunlight.

"But I Love you more . more than you can imagine. " she whispered in response. Suddenly, she heard a loud bang down the street and jumped in surprise. "Oh no " she murmered eyes wide and fearful as she recognized the sound as a gun

Sam smiled, cracking his eyes open. "Yeah? Well I-" the sound of a gun made him grab Kate and immediately pull her inside the house. He took her to his room, making her sit on his bed. "Stay here, Kate, I'm going to go lock the doors and windows." He said softly, then went and locked everything. A few more gun shots sounded near the house they were in, and Sam quietly moved up the stairs. He got on the bed with Kate and got behind her, wrapping his arms around her and holding her close. "It's okay, everything's locked.. they won't be coming in.." he promised her, shutting off the lights. He grabbed a soft blanket and pulled it over them both, keeping her comfortable and warm.

The spooked girl nodded and curled up against Sam, trying to block out the sound of gunshots and focus on his words,attempting letting them comfort her just as the blanket. "S-sam . what if its the hunters? " she asked, voice quivering. . "even if they don't get us, they'll get someone else. It just what the normals do to hybrids..."

Sam kissed the top of her head and held her close. "They won't you hurt. They won't come... it's okay. As long as I'm with you, you'll be safe." He whispered. "As for the other people... I... I don't know. All we can do is hope for the best and hope that they are okay." He twitched his ears and tried blocking out the gunshots.

Kate nodded again and curled up tighter, grabbing same hand as if her life depended on the single action. After what seemed like forever the gunshots slowly made it away from the house . "i-is it gone?" She stuttered

Kate nodded and opened her eyes , gently tightening her grip on his hand . after a minute of sitting there she yawned. "I have to stop going to sleep at 2 am " she murdered to herself , glancing up at Sam and resting her head under his chin and against his chest

Sam smiled, opening his mouth to say something before a hunter burst in through the door and held the gun up, aiming it straight at Sam and Kate. They narrowed their eyes. As Sam sat there, staring at the hunter and the gun, he noticed that they were wearing very protective armor. It would do no good to attack them. Sam flinched slightly, then held Kate tightly. "Just get behind me, Kate. Don't you dare move anywhere else." His voice was stern, yet soft, and he meant what he said.

Kate held her breath and did as she was told , peeking behind him to look at the hunters. 'Don't hurt Sam!' She pleaded in her mind, not daring to make a single sound. Her eyes flicked between the hunters , tears streaming down her face

Sam blinked, sweat drizzling down the side of his head. He watched the hunters look at each other, then look back at them. They put their guns down, apologized, then walked out. Sam sat there, completely dumbfounded, then it came to him. Their ears blended in with their hair. Kate's orange tiger ears matched her hair, and Sam's brown dog ears matched his brown hair. He waited until they were gone, then he turned around and grabbed Kate, pulling her back towards him and comforting her. "Shhhh..." he whispered, wiping the tears off of her face with his thumb. "It's okay, they left.." he stroked her hair and kissed her fore-head, closing his eyes and holding her against his chest.

"I-i thought they were going to kill us " Kate said through muffled tears as her head her to his chest as she hugged Sam tightly, not planning to let go for a while . they left , just left ! They bust in here and just leave . , she was thinking, not necessary wanting then to have a reason to stay but rather wondering why they just left like that. Her mind with swirling with thoughts of relief and fear , therefore her thinking wasnt strait.

Sam comfortingly rubbed her back, holding her close and kissing her head again. "Kate, Kate.... it's okay. I know, they left. They thought we were human. Listen to my voice, okay? Just listen to my voice and we'll both be alright, okay? Shhhh..." he soothed, cracking his eyes open and gently biting his lip.

Kate whimpered in recondition . she used Sam's smooth and soothing voice to comfort herself and drag her body into a deep unconscious sleep, hoping to wake up again and realize that everything had been a dream. Her and Sam would be safe and sound, no hunters nearby, and everything would be fine. Despite her hopes and wishes, deep down she knew she was lying to herself and getting her hopes up .

Kate curled up and wrapped her tail around them as she slept .

Max smiled softly and gently picked her up, holding her against his chest and walking to the living room. He set her down on the floor where a soft carpet lay. Since it was snowing outside, he lit a fire in the fireplace and kept her warm by laying a blanket over her. Kissing her cheek, he went into the kitchen and grabbed his shopping list. "Bye Kate. I love you." He said softly before heading out the door and getting in his car.


As he was driving, he drove past a greenlight, unaware of the car speeding towards him. They missed the red light and rammed into the drivers side, flipping Sam's car and sending it flying. Sam had gone unconscious by the time this happened, and the ambulance was already there.

Paramedics rushed out and helped both Sam and the other driver, putting them on stretchers and taking them to the hospital.

An hour later Kate woke up to the sound of a hard knock at the door. She sleepily stood up and grabbed a jacket, pulling it on as she I opened the door to see an officer. "Hello M'am . would you happen to know of a Sam
-insert last name - ?". Kate looked at the man,her expression turning serious . " yes Sir. Why do you ask? " . the man frowned deeply and shook his head in sympathy. " he was in a terrible wreck. He's is currently iin the hospital as they are trying to keep him alive. " . Kate gasped and yowled at the officer to get er there as quick as possible

Half an hour later Kate sat in the waiting room, hoping that any second a nurse or dowcter would walk in, call her back and allpow her to see how bad the damage was to the one she loved with all of her heart .

Sam was connected to life support, as a piece of metal had buried itself into his chest. He had an oxygen mask covering his mouth, the inside fogging up and clearing out as he breathed. His eyes were closed and he was all cleaned up and stitched up. But he was very weak and sore.

The doctor walked out and smiled at Kate. "What a miracle. Sam is all fixed up, but he is very sore and tired. If you want to go in and talk to him, you may, but he won't be able to talk for a while because his vocal cords and throat were really torn up during the accident. Now, here's his medicine," the doctor handed Kate a tiny bottle filled with pills, "And your all set!" He cheerily said, turning around and walking off.

Kate stared at the docter. "How in the hell can someone be so damn smiley about such a situation!" She asked to no one as she raced down to the hospital room. When she saw him tears formed in her eyes . "oh Sam, what happened to you ?" She whispered, bending over his body and planting a very gentle kiss on his forehead. "I'll never let you out of my sight . never again " she whispered to him, not knowing if he could actually hear the words or not .

With a carefully hand she picked up on of his , holding it to her and murdering prayers and nothings as she watchedr his chest rise and fall

Sam cracked his eyes open and looked at Kate, tightening his hold on her hand and smiling softly at her. He winced in slight pain as he breathed, staring up at her and looking around for a white board or a note pad. When he did he grabbed it and wrote down: You are Beautiful.

Kate read the board. how can he just narrowly avoid death and then say something like that. He is truly amazing she thought, sniffling and sniffling before telling him. "But you are amazing. I don't know where I would without you Sam. I love you. And always will "

Sam blushed softly and smiled, writing down something else: I love you too, Kate. I love you so, so much. I will never leave your side again.

"Good. Because even if you try, I won't let you " she told him, chuckling quietly as she brushed his hair away from his face with a soft and delicate finger

"You didnt have to even ask " Kate whispered before leaning down and kissing Sam gently. She smiled and gently pulled his mask back over his face. " we don't need you in worse condition than you already are in , do we?" She teased

Sam smiled happily, then shook his head and held her hand. He was blushing, and very giddy. Let's go home! I want to cuddle with you, or maybe watch TV with you! We could go swimming! He suggested down on the note pad.

"I don't this k swimming is a good idea just yet. But I do want to take you home . I want you wrapped in my arms , smiling " Kate told him dreamily . she wondered how much longer he would have to be there

Sam smiled more and nodded, sitting up quickly. He suddenly yelped in pain and the heart monitor dropped. His heart was weak. So were his muscles and bones. Pain shot through his body and he clenched his teeth, gripping Kate's hand. The heart rate continued dropping, and he grew weak. Too weak. His skin turned pale and he trembled, holding onto her warm hand.

The doctors and nurses rushed in, scrambling to fix his heart rate.

Kate was shoived out if the room and banged on the door. "Sam!" She yelled , trying to fight oif the docters that were pushing her from the door (ugh, so short DX)

Sam wanted to wrote something down on the notepad, but the doctors refused. He fought them as hard as he could, reaching over and grabbing it. He took the pen and scribbled down: I love you Kate. Love, Sam ♡ before having it yanked away from him. He looked up at the light, watching it slowly blur and turn fuzzy. The voices around him slowly grew quieter and softer, and he saw the edge of his vision turn dark. The heart rate slowed down too much, and the medical staff had no choice but to cut him off. They unplugged the machine and watched as Sam quietly closed his eyes and went limp, his heart stopping..

They covered him up with a white sheet and rolled him out of the room and to the morgue. The nurses were cautious of Kate, and surrounded the stretcher.

Sam was laying flat on the stretcher, and the nurses went over to comfort her. Sam wasn't quite dead. His spirit was still alive. He moved towards Kate and sat next to her, wrapping his arm around her and kissing her cheek. Of course, he couldn't be seen. His body was still there.

Kate turned her head, looking at the emptiness beside her. It almost felt as if ....no, it couldn't be. There was no one there. But ,she felt as though someone had just kissed her cheek.

Kate's heart filled with warmth . it was warmth that she could not handle . "oh Sam, why did you have to leave me . you said you would never leave my side " she cried quietly , no clue that the spirit of her only love was beside her . Kate picked herself off the ground and began walking.

The next hour of walking home was a blackout to Kate. She didn't even realize she was home until she came to and was sitting at the kitchen table, a knife a few inches from her hand. Her fingers slowly croawled up to it and she gripped it gently in her hand

Sam followed her home, standing next to her as she held the knife. Fear flickered through his eyes and he layed his hand on her shoulder, standing close to her and staring at the knife. He wrapped his arms around her, comforting her and calming her down.

Kate dropped the knife a few times on the table but picked it up each time, gripping it harder with every time. its the only way to be with Sam again . I have to..., she thought, convincing herself enough to stop dropping it.

"One .....two.........three!!!" She murmered . when the last word had left her mouth she plunged the knife deep into her broken heart . As her vision blurred and the world faded she couldn't help but smile the tiniest of smiles as the thought of rejoining her love swirled in her numbed mind

Max fell to his knees, gently holding her head up and staring at the blood. Spirits couldn't cry. They couldn't show emotion. But Max was too strong. He let the tears flow, feeling them stream like a waterfall down his cheeks. He held her limp hand in his and sobbed, curling up and trembling. Oh, Kate... how could you. Why did you do that, my love. Why... he said quietly, sniffling and brushing the hair out of her face.

Kate wrapped her arms around his body tightly. "I missed you too Sam . I just couldn't live without you . you are my life, my love, my everything. Even my eternity . everything after death " she cried, setting her head on his shoulder and snuggling against him .

Sam tightened his grip on her shirt and held her closer, burying his face in her shirt and sniffling. "I swear this time.... I am NEVER leaving your side."

Kate nodded. "You'd better not " she said , smiling and ruffling his hair . she purred loudly and her tail swished back and forth

Sam's tail slowly Began to wag, then it went faster and his ears twitched. He looked up and kissed her on the lips, closing his eyes and feeling warmth rush through his spiritually body.

Kate pulled back for a moment before winking and kissing him back. She pushed him to the ground so she was lying on top of him. "I never want to let go" she purred, grabbing his hand

Sam smiled softly up at her, holding her tightly. "I won't let you." He laughed softly and kissed her cheek, then rested his head on the ground.

Kate touched noses with Sam . "then let's do it. Let's find a way . what if its possible " she whispered in a mystical voice . she smiled and hugged Sam's neck . "the moment I can feel your touch again will be the best day of my life "

Sam smiled happily and nuzzled her neck. "Let's do it." He said softly, standing up. He helped Kate stand up as well and took her hand in his, entwining their fingers.

Kate took a deep breath and looked over at her body and suddenly frowned . "I k-killed myself. " she murdered, looking at Sam with a horrified look. "We have to figure out a way to fix this, quick"

Sam nodded slightly, then walked over and slowly pulled the knife out of her chest, making sure to be careful. As on as it was out he stitched it up with a first aid kit and wiped away the blood, then soaked the wound in disinfecting spray. After bandaging it up and wrapping it with gauz, he looked at Kate. "Now, try and inhabit your body, Kate." He said softly.

Kate gave Sam one last kiss on the cheek before stepping toward to her body. Everything went black and suddenly Kate was sitting hun her chair. She yelped loudly as she moved , covering the part where she had stabbed herself . she looked around ,realizing that she didn't see Sam . "it worked!"

Sam smiled and teleported to the morgue, where he inhabitant ed his own body. Jumping up and terrifying the nurses, he bolted out and ran back to his house, where Kate was. He was in immense pain, but he didn't care. He wanted to be with her. He slammed the door open and ran to her, tackling her to the ground and laughing. "Kate!" He grinned, blushing and crying tears of joy.

"Sam! " Kate cried. She wrapped her arms around him. "You're back. You're alive . and you're beside me ". Her tears of joy mixed with his as she pressed her face against his own .

Sam nodded slightly. "I know... I know I am... I love you so much, Kate..." he trembled as he held her close, his mind racing. "What do you wanna do..?" He asked her, calming down a bit and sniffling.

Kate breathing slowed as she composed herself. "Anything. Anything at all. As long as you are by my side , I don't even care " she told him , slowly sitting up and not taking her eyes off of Sam .

Sam's tail wagged and he slowly stood up, bringing Kate with him. "Stay here. I'm just going to the kitchen to get you a surprise." He grinned and ran off. When he came back he was holding two mugs with hot chocolate inside, as well as whipped cream and a few marshmallows with a red and white striped straw. "Here. We can sit on the couch and drink this and watch a Christmas movie. Or maybe a horror movie." He said in a spooky voice, smiling and biting his lip.

"Or both. Why not just sit here and watch everything . we have all the time in the world !" Kate exclaimed happily, taking a sip of her drink and peering over her mug with a soft and possipossible flirtatious smile

Sam blushed madly and looked at the ground. "W-Well, I have a TV in my room. W-we can watch something in there." He stuttered, too lovestruck to concentrate and stay serious. His tail wagged slowly and he smiled softly.

Sam trembled slightly at her gentle touch, holding her hand in his and taking a sip of the drink. He blushed madly and led her to the room, kicking the door shut and letting go of her hand. He set the mug on the bedside table, then gently picked up Kate and set her on the bed. He got in next to her after popping in a scary movie, then switching off the lights. For a few minutes, it was pitch black. Sam wrapped an arm around Kate and held her very close, his ears twitching as he held his drink in his other hand. The TV eventually clicked onto the beginning of the movie, playing and opening the horror.

Kate put her mug down on the table and pulled her knees up, wrapping her arms around them as she leaned against Sam and watched the movie , blushing at being alone like this with sam. "Sam...can I tell you something ?" She asked right before jumping with a slight yelp as she was caught off guard and jumpscared by the horror movie.

Sam flinched at the jumpscare, then held Kate tightly. "You can tell me anything, Kate." He said softly, his face a light red color. He liked being like this with Kate, he really did. He loved to be alone in the dark of the room with her. Just Kate and him. He blushed a little more at how wrong that sounded, then smiled.

Kate took a deep breath. "I've been thinking . a lot, about something. Have...have you ever thought about children ? " she whispered , curling up in a tighter ball and hoping that Sam didn't resent her for what she had just said. She blushed and set her head on her knees , not knowing if she really wanted to see his expression or not

Sam's breath caught in his throat and he blushed madly. He turned off the TV and took a sip of his drink before setting it on the bedside table. "I... I have. I have many times, actually.." he blushed and smiled at her before gently pushing her back onto the pillows, moving her arms and legs away from her face. Sam tilted her head up and smiled, moving over her. "Do you want a baby?" He wondered, still blushing.

You would be such an amazing father and I would love the child with all of my heart, just as I love you ". She slowly raised her hands and wrapped her arms around his neck. " so, my question is. Do you want a baby?" She asked, eyes wide and glimmering in the darkness of the room

He said softly, leaning down even more and kissing her neck. "So, Kate..." he said quietly, his blush darlening, "Do you want to make a baby?"

Sam closed his eyes as well and kissed her back, his heart racing. He loved her too much for his own good. Like a drug. He tilted his head slightly, where he wrapped one arm around her waist and slid the other up her shirt.

Sam woke up the next morning, cracking his eyes open. He found that he had his shirt off, but everything else was on. Thank goodness. He didn't remember everything from last night, but he did remember some things. Blushing softly, Sam looked over at Kate and smiled softly, kissing her cheek and getting up. He picked up the mug and put it in the kitchen sink, then walked back to the bedroom and got in the bed, curling up beside Kate.

Kate yawned herself awake the next morning . she popped her bright eyes open and turned to see Sam curling around her. "Good morning " she whispered sleepily , smiling at him with a drowsy grin.

Kate pressed herself against him . "come on . let's go out and get something to eat " she suggested , honestly not caring what they did at this point iin time . all she cared about was him

Sam nodded and smiled. "Okay." He said softly as he picked her up and held her close before walking out of the bedroom. He set her down on the couch, then went back into the bedroom. When he came back out he was wearing new clothes.

Kate smiled and stood up , watching him come out. "Mind if we stop at my place so I can grab some clothes?" She asked
