Mistpool squeezed out of the warrior's den. She blinked her eyes, adjusting to the change in light. She yawned and looked around the camp.

Geckopaw was walking through the forest. The young tom was looking for something specific. The Medicine Den was running low on thyme. Great. Now, where is some? He wondered, narrowing his fern-green eyes as he flared his nostrils. Flicking his tail, he padded toward a thick swath of ferns, ducking through the arching ferns. He emerged on the other side, and he had found what he was looking for. Sprouting among the roots of a tree, there was a couple shoots of thyme. Grinning in satisfaction, he nipped off a few stalks, rolling them under his chin. He was know in a slightly awkward position, his head tucked to his chest. Snorting at his own awkwardness, he padded back to camp.

Falconflight sat at the camp entrance, bored. Gotta wait for the medicine cat apprentice to get back, and I have to guard the entrance from attacks.

Geckopaw looked nervously at his paws when he saw Falconflight. Nodding a quick greeting to the warrior, he scurried along, not really hoping for conversation. He slowed down to a quick trot as he reached the medicine den. It was a Manzanita bush, with a hollow middle. It had little spaces among the red branches that were perfect for storing herbs. Reaching onto his toes to drop the herbs in one of the clefs, he sniffed the other herbs, pulling out old or dry ones.

"If you are tired then you can go join Falconflight in the warrior's den. But if you're hungry then you can grab something off the fresh kill pile." She offered. "Let me know if you need anything." Mistpool then looked around camp for Flashstar. I wonder where Flashstar is. He should be the first one to welcome Iceclaw. "Have a good night." She mewed to Iceclaw then walked off to the fresh kill pile. She grabbed a mouse and sat down in her usual spot by a tree stump. Mistpool gave thanks to starclan then started eating the mouse.

She bit the sack open so that the kit could breathe. The blue-gray furred kit squirmed over to his mother. Just then another sharp pain formed in her belly as another kit, a tortoiseshell she-kit, plopped onto the moss bedding. Pineheart bit open the sack so that the she-kit could breathe. The kit squirmed over to her mother to suckle. And then the last sharp pain formed in Pineheart's belly as the last kit she would have in this litter plopped onto the moss bedding. She tiredly bit the sack open so the kit could breathe. This kit was all white. It also was a tom. The kit crawled over to his mother and suckled. "I know what to name all of you.", Pineheart said, looking at her kits. "I'll name you, Mosskit.", the queen said. "And I'll name you, Ashkit.", she said, looking at the blue-gray kit. "And lastly, I'll name you, Whispkit.", Pineheart mewed, tiredly, looking at the all white tom kit.

Falconflight woke up yawning, then she stretched and went to the fresh-kill pile with a bounce in her step. "Heya, Iceclaw! How are you?" She said when she pulled a mouse off of the pile. She took a bite out of it and gobbled it up. "Yum. So much better then bird. Want something to eat?"

Mistpool padded over to the fresh kill pile, and grabbed a small mouse. She sat down at her usual spot near a tree stump and thanked Starclan for the meal. She ate the tiny mouse then stood up. I think I should go on a border patrol and catch some prey on the way back. She thought, and looked around for cats to go on a patrol with her.

Mistpool walked out of camp, and walked into the forest. She did a border patrol, and decided to hunt on her way back. She came back into camp with a sparrow hanging from her jaws. Mistpool placed it on the fresh kill pile.
