The Riddle House

The Riddle House is a series of maze-like rooms. Each room has a riddle in it, and each room gives you 24 hours to solve the riddle. If you solve the riddle, you can move on. If you can't solve the riddle, you die. Simple.

You don't know how you got here. You don't know who the voice belongs to. And you don't know all these people in the room with you.

Nani opened her eyes slowly and squeaked in fear, jumping to her feet. "W-where? H-how?" She stuttered, looking around.

Alexis rolled over in her sleep, giving a startled squeal as she fell onto a hard wooden floor. She opened her eyes and blinked several times as she looked around at the room and the bench she had rolled out of. This...is not my room. Where the heck am I?! She scrambled to her feet and stared at the other people in the room with her with wide eyes. "Who are you guys? Where am I?"

"I'm Jasmine. I don't know how I or we got here.",she shrugged.

Adriana opened her eyes slowly, staring up at the ceiling. She blinked, before sitting up quickly.

"Hello, hello!" A voice crackled over the loudspeaker. "Welcome to the Riddle House~ Now, the rules are simple. Solve the riddle in the room within twenty-four hours, or die. Each time you solve a room, you move on to the next one. There will be a clue, maybe the answer if you look."

"Now, here's a very simple riddle."

"What is black, and white, and red all over?"

Jasmine jumped a bit from speaker. She listened and started thinking about the question.

Nani thought for a second. "A newspaper?"

"A ladybug?", Jasmine said.

"Correct, Nani." The voice chirped only in Nani's room.
"Incorrect, Jasmine." The voice echoed through all the speakers. "Try again."

"A newspaper?" Adriana asked quietly.

"Bingo, Adriana!" The voice chirped in Adriana's room.

Nani sighed in relief. "Thank god..." She whispered.

Jasmine scratched her head,"Newspaper?"

"Correct. All of you will move into the next room."
