The 17 year old let out a sigh, sadness gleaming in his eyes.

Faye scribbled down answers down on the worksheet her parents made her do. Her cheek still stung from her mothers slap. Luckily she didn't get too bad of a punishment from getting a problem wrong since it would be a school day soon. Faye looked out the window. She wished her parents weren't so mean. That they wouldn't use her for bragging rights. That they loved her.

Minerva, a old wolf from a old pack paced through the sky. She had felt the connection when her wisher was born but the white wolf knew the rules. Do not show yourself in front of your own wisher before it mentions a wish. That was when she felt it, she felt the bond of her wisher tugging in her long white fur. The old wolf flicked her tail happily. To be there for yet another wisher was a dream she hadn't imagined. Cause many wolves just left their wisher be, after fulfilling the wish, while others stayed. As the white female stood at the window she looked down at the girl. Her wisher. Her companion for these years to be. She did not dare to speak but slowly just waited her wisher's arrival at the door.

Up in the realm of the starwolves, an odd twin-tailed white wolf was pacing around. It had been years since she'd sensed the birth of her wisher, and yet she was still unable to go to them. She knew nothing about the person, only their wish, and it had been one her giggly little heart had melted for. Whoever this person was just wanted a pet; someone for companionship, to cuddle and cry with when they were sad, and to laugh and smile with when they were happy. She fell for sappy stuff like that way too easily, but she didn't care any more.

Suddenly she felt an odd tugging sensation in her chest, right beneath the thick fur at her neck that hid her necklace. She'd never felt this before, but somehow she knew what it was. It was nearly time! She blinked her blue eyes joyfully and wondered just how much longer it would be.

"I wish I could have some sort of romance in my life," she sighed, waiting for her eyes to adjust.[Sure]

He sat and leaned against the cushions, looking up at the stars and the few light clouds that dotted the night sky. He reached up a hand and placed a finger on the glass, tracing the stars like connect-the-dots. It was fun, even if he didn't know any constellations other than the big dipper and Orion.

What if she couldn't help them fulfill their wish?

She shook her head to clear it. She was an optimist. She dealt with problems when they arose. This was great; she could finally meet the one who may change her life! The trip down to the human world was a strange one, making her feel all tingly inside, but she didn't let it effect her. She halted once she neared the house this tug in her chest was leading her to; this was her first wisher and she wasn't sure what to do.

She squinted and could just about make out someone in one of the windows, staring up at the stars and doodling on the glass. That had to be them! But how was she meant to go about this? The white wolf suddenly found herself wishing she'd asked one of the older starwolves for advice.

Alyssa titled her head curiously; the boy was staring at her, specifically, as if he could see her. But that wasn't possible, right? Or maybe it was, since they had a special connection. She began to wonder just how to approach him. Judging by his wish, he would probably prefer her to appear in her wolf form, instead of the human one she was often told to assume when visiting the human world.

Finally, she decided to just go for it. She let herself fall, touching the ground on feather-light paws and looking up at the boy's window with wide blue eyes. She didn't know how 'pets' really worked, but if it would help her wisher, she'd do it.

Blue heard the voice on the other side of the closet door, still rubbing his head with a paw since he was still in his wolf form. He did let out a chuckle, though, and said, "Calm down, miss. It would have been better if I got to your window, but apparently nature wanted me to enter in style..." trying to push the door open.

Alyssa titled her head curiously; the boy was staring at her, specifically, as if he could see her. But that wasn't possible, right? Or maybe it was, since they had a special connection. She began to wonder just how to approach him. Judging by his wish, he would probably prefer her to appear in her wolf form, instead of the human one she was often told to assume when visiting the human world.

Finally, she decided to just go for it. She let herself fall, touching the ground on feather-light paws and looking up at the boy's window with wide blue eyes. She didn't know how 'pets' really worked, but if it would help her wisher, she'd do it.
Sam continued to watch the star, enjoying its twinkle. he then drew the shape of a dog around it, with the star as its eye.

Blue heard the voice on the other side of the closet door, still rubbing his head with a paw since he was still in his wolf form. He did let out a chuckle, though, and said, "Calm down, miss. It would have been better if I got to your window, but apparently nature wanted me to enter in style..." trying to push the door open.

She made her way into the boy's bedroom, lingering in her ethereal form for a moment longer before pressing her paws to the floor and letting herself grow solid. She eyed her wisher beside the window nervously for just a moment before letting out a quiet bark.

Humans 'stroked' their pets; from what she understood, it was a human's way of grooming an animal, since they didn't seem to lick themselves clean. Hoping she was doing the right thing, she took a step towards her wisher and leaned forwards to gently nose his outstretched hand.

"Very well," she replied, then stretched and moved to the center of the room and sat down so she could see every exit and entrance.

Then she remembered all the times she'd looked down on the human world, waiting for her chance to fulfill a wish, and watched humans play with other humans or pets... she was a pet now, wasn't she? Humans 'stroked' their pets; from what she understood, it was a human's way of grooming an animal, since they didn't seem to lick themselves clean. Hoping she was doing the right thing, she took a step towards her wisher and leaned forwards to gently nose his outstretched hand. his face broke out in a wide grin and he laughed, the sound not really sounding like a normal laugh.

Rising to her paws, and giving her pelt a quick shake, Fox faded to the room of her wisher. He was fast asleep in his bed, but his wish still rang in her ears.
